Bipolar?

We were all sitting on a big table accompanied by a lot of people I did not recognise while there were some whom I had remembered from my last trip here. I had avoided Samantha the entire time and chose to stay with Fai. "Katherine we should go out tonight" Fai spoke I nodded my head in approval "Yes please!" I took a sip of the orange juice I looked around the table when I saw two people walking off it was Samantha and Harry I rolled my eyes she finally grews balls to talk to him. I looked at Fai who had not noticed them leave .

"Fai, there's something you should know about Samantha" I spoke his head shot up at the mention of her name and I controlled myself from rolling my eyes at him.

"What about her?" He asked looking at me.

"Let's go somewhere else?" I asked nudging his hand. I nodded I thanked him when he held his hand out for me. We walked away from everyone at sat on a bench far enough that we could not hear the chatting from the table. I stared at the grass under my feel for a few seconds when I felt a tug at my hand.

"Come on kat, you're scarring me" Fai laughed lightly I looked at him my lips in a thin line.

"She uh, has feelings for Harry Fai" I spoke trying to study his expression.

"I mean, he's hot and I won't know anyone who won't have feelings for him, except you" he chuckled I shook my head

"No! She, loves him Fai" I spoke frown visible on my face he stared at me for a few seconds his face emotion less "Oh" is all he said.

"I'm telling you this because I don't want you I get hurt Fai! I only met Samantha through Amy and although she has become one of my really good friends, you're still my best friend and I can not see you get hurt" my frown deepened with each passing second.

"Did, did Samantha tell you that?" He asked his voice low I nodded my head my lips in a thin line I searched for any emotion but I got none. He gave me a hug for a few seconds i patted his back we pulled away after a little while.

"Thanks Kat for saving me before I feel too deeply for her" my heart broke slightly seeing the smile he gave me. He squeezed my hand before getting up to leave. I sat there confused. Did I do the right thing?

Of course I did! Why would I let my friend love a girl when she does not feel the same way about her? I know I did the right thing. I watched Fai as he made his way inside and I knew what that only meant one thing. He was going to drink and it's too early for that. However, I did not follow him inside I knew he needed space. I got up and made my way back to the table where everyone now was getting up greeting each other . "Katherine dear can go and get Harry Liam is going right now to the new building" mom spoke I opened my mouth to protest but decided against it as she was standing with other women and I knew better than to say no, in front of guests of course. I nodded turning around trying to find where he might be. I knew he went somewhere with Samantha but I didn't know where. I sighed out in relief when I spotted them near the bridge. I took reluctant steps in their direction by the time I reached them Samantha had noticed me.

"Katherine?" She asked. Her tone sounded a little upset, was it because I interrupted whatever they were doing? I didn't care I gave her a forced smile a little sour with her for not confronting Fai.

"Harry Liam's waiting for you" I spoke looking at him he looked at me but I did not wait for his reply and was on my way back to where Liam and Amy were standing.

"Shall we go?" I asked Liam he looked behind me then nodded his head Amy and Liam walked towards the car and I followed not turning around to see if harry was coming or not. Why was he though? It's nothing to do with him. By the time I reached the car Amy was already sitting in the passenger seat and Liam in the drivers seat I huffed in annoyance sitting behind Liam's seat. After a few seconds my door opened I looked at harry who stood there I raised my eyebrows he did the same not speaking. Liam and Amy had not taken notice as they were busy conversing.
