Enigmatic

Samantha walked along the wines her fingers touching them ever so slightly as Harry walked by her still confused "So, your aunt owns a winery? And you never even told me" Harry tilts his head in Samantha's direction as she smiles "Like I said before, there's a lot that you do not know about me Harry" she looks at him with a sparkle in her eyes "I'm full of surprises" she winks at Harry smiling "Figures" Harry muttered to himself

"Does, does Amy know about it?" Harry was a little curious as to how much he did not know of the redhead he claimed to be his friend. Don't friends know this stuff about each other? Then again, has he ever payed close attention to this friend to have known? Harry's mind was questioning his morals, he has always claimed to be an amazing friend, to Amy he was, but what he questioned more was that has he treated Samantha with the same kindness as she deserves.

"Yeah, lets just say she was also 'lost' and needed to be rescued"  Samantha air quoted lost and Harry's mind once again went back to the brunette. But he did not bother asking why Samantha brought Amy here as he knew that she won't tell him anyway.

"So, what do you have in mind?" Harry asked the girl as she walked ahead and when she turned around bumping into Harry her hair covering her face. Not knowing why or how, Harry reached his hand pushing Samantha's hair out of her face and while doing so, he for the first time took in the sight of her eyes. They were a mixture of green and hazel and Harry was caught in them when suddenly Samantha blinked and moved a little further away from where Harry stood as her heart was beating too fast for her liking "Sorry" Harry scratched his neck as all of a sudden, one could feel the awkwardness in the air.

"It's alright, lets just eat something cause I'm starving" and once again, Harry followed as Samantha lead the way.

"Is this like your get away?" Harry asked Samantha who's attention was on the pasta in front of her "Not really, I just find it peaceful you know. Although, when I'm heartbroken I come here to drink the pain away" Samantha took a bite of the food in front of her as Harry watched her wondering what sort of heartbreaks she was referring to.

"Alright, so tell me why are you all over the place" Samantha gave Harry a look wanting an answer "it's.., I don't know. I'm just, annoyed?" Harry told her but it was more in a questioning manner "I, I know you have feelings for Amy, it's alright talk to me" even though it took all in Samantha to muster up the courage to say it, she hoped his answer would be a 'no' but when Harry's head jerked up at her revelation, she knew she felt her stomach drop and her heart beating fast.

"Is it though? Cause I'm not sure. It's like, I want her next to me but then also somethings she does makes me mad" Harry looked at his redheaded friend with a frown "is that how you feel when you like someone?" He looked at her with pleading eyes wanting an answer. Whereas on the other hand, the girl sitting before him was not at all liking the confessions and cursed herself for starting it. Wouldn't it be better to stay oblivious to the truth? For ones own sake?

Blinking and not willing to let some stupid crush of the week ruin her mood, she gave him such a beautiful smile that even Harry felt his heart beat increasing for a brief moment "Well, I've never liked someone for a long time, so I actually don't know how it feels. But, I'm pretty sure you do" and what she didn't realise was that how pain the words that followed would give her "but I've seen the way you are around her, so I'm pretty sure!" Harry gave the beautiful girl a smile relieved he can finally tell how he feels to someone.

"So, what're you gonna do about it?" She was curious as to how he will go about it. "I don't know Sam, lately, her behaviour towards me has been really cold and rude, almost like she wants me to hate her" the real reason behind Harry's distant behaviour "you know what, don't stress it, if it's meant to be, it'll happen, but if it's not, then you can't do anything about it" Samantha was a little too honest with her opinion as she remembered what Amy had confessed before leaving for Australia and that's when she felt a bit relieved "Wow thanks Sam, that's really helpful" Harry was a little hurt by her straight forwardness  "No but I'm serious. What If Amy likes someone else?" Harry's heart once again started beating fast this time nervous and scared?

"Does she Sam?" Harry looked at her with questioning eyes, wanting to know if something was happening which he did not know of "I'm just saying by the way Harry eat your food" Samantha tried to change the subject not at all wanting to continue with the conversation.

"Thanks for today" Harry thanked Samantha as they made their way towards their cars. "Don't worry about it" Samantha spoke while taking out her car keys "So, I'll see you tomorrow?" Harry asked her while unlocking his car "I guess" Samantha looked at Harry as he opened his car door "Take care Sam" Samantha nodes as Harry drove off  and while standing there all she could think about was how Harry had driven all the way to her house and that's what she wanted him to do again. But, we can't always get what we want right?

Enjoy! I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter but I wanted to get into the basic story as fast but at the same time at the correct moment as possible. So yeah, there you have it! Also I'm thinking of changing one of the characters (person who plays them). Anyway, have fun! And share your thoughts with me it's about time ghost readers!!
