"What do you think her reaction will be?" I looked at her for a minute, trying to visualise Amy's reaction to say I was nervous would be an understatement.

"I honestly don't know. I mean, with Amy, you don't know what to expect. She can either make your day or ruin it" when I looked back at her I saw her frowning.

"What's up with that face" I tried to crack a smile but something told me she saw right through it. "Nothing" she shrugged as she played with the stone.

"Well, I'm glad you called me to clear up the 'situation' " I air quoted and she chuckled.

"Yeah, me too" she stood up facing me with her hands in the pockets of her jacket "Okay then, I'll see you around" Samantha nodded her head before turning around to leave.

"Hey, no hug?" I stood up with a frown but it changed to a smirk when I saw a red faced Samantha.

"Why do you have to make everything so weird!" Sam exasperated and I smirked approaching her "What's so weird about me asking you for a hug" I raised my hands "It's not like I asked you to kiss me"

Her eyes were wide at my statement "Why would you even go there" she turned completely facing me her eyes blinking rapidly.

My smirk grew in to a grin as I walked close stopping when there was only an inch of space between us "Because last time I remember, onion breath got in the way" even though I was nervous about my confrontation with Amy, I couldn't help being playful with Sam.

She's like a jigsaw puzzle and every time, I'm intrigued and excited to join the pieces but it's like I find a new piece that wasn't there before.

"Are you sure you like Amy Harry? Cause last I checked you don't miss any opportunity to flirt with me"

I was taken aback by what she said all of a sudden the playfulness that filled the air vanished .

I blinked trying to take in what she had just said not a word leaving my mouth "I'll see you at Uni" she walked away not giving me a chance to come up with a comeback.

But as I stood there i couldn't help but think why didn't I have a comeback?

My alarm went off quite early for my liking. I came home very late yesterday because my mind was occupied with what Sam had said.

What bothered me even more was the fact that I was still thinking about it. Was I overthinking? I thought but every time I closed my eyes I couldn't help but picture her face and what she had said.

And to say I already had enough on my plate would be an understatement. Exams were coming up and so the semester was coming to an end and in days like this I cursed myself for taking a gap year. If I didn't, this would've been my last year and all this would be over with.

I got up with a little motivation and made my way towards my desk. Notes and books were all piled up waiting to be read and memorised by me. Sighing I went to my closet taking out a pair of skinny jeans which I had grown a fond of even though I had quite thin legs for my liking and a plain black shirt. If I was going to study, might as well be fresh right?

I entered the bathroom scratching my scalp "Oh what do you have planed for me today" I looked at the ceiling attempting to talk to God.

After an hour of studying, I decided to take a well deserved break and as I was about to head out my phone rang and my heart accelerated after I read the caller ID.

"And she decides to call" i roll my eyes as I make my way towards the couch in the lounge

"Ha ha, I miss you"

I could fight the smile that broke on my face "Have you now"

"Yes, how are you?" I was happy that Amy has finally called and the fact that she sounds like herself and not the cold Amy that she was for the past few days.

"I'm great! How's your trip" I ask wanting to know when she plans on returning but not want to sound desperate.

"It was great!" By her tone, I could tell she was smiling.

"Wait, did you just say was?" I frowned "Have you returned?" I asked. "Why didn't yo-" door bell rang

"What happened?" Amy asked "I don't know, there's someone on the door" I answered standing up "Yeah you should probably get that" and with that she hung up.

I frowned making my way towards the front door. I was annoyed at whoever had just ruined my conversation with Amy.

I opened the door with a stern expression but it softened when I saw who stood on the other side.

"Amy?" She smiled and I pulled her into a hug .

"Hi Harry!" Amy spoke still in my embrace.

Hey you guys! It's been quite a while since I've posted and so there you have it! Another chapter is up! It's not exactly how I wanted to update, I wanted it to be a little longer with a lot of things included but I felt like it's been too long since I updated so here you go! And I also saw that the previous chapter did not get as many views as the earlier ones, is it because the name of the story changed?
