Feelings

She sat on one of the chairs in the waiting area while Harry went in for an X-Ray. Pulse quick and eyes blinking in nervousness, Katherine could not wait any longer her eyes were glued onto the door through which Harry went minutes ago and as if he heard her request for him to return he walked out holding onto his wrist followed by the nurse who was attending to him.

She stood up fast walking the short distance towards him stopping a feet away she gave him a nervous glance before shifting her gaze to the nurse behind him. "What happened?" Harry looked down at his wrist which looked a little swollen.

"His X-Ray's in the doctor will be here in a few minutes" Katherine nodded her head grabbing the packet in her hand. They stood there in silence for a few seconds few glances were stolen between the two.

"Miss are you family?" The same nurse came back holding a folder in her hand. From all the movies she had seen she knew if she said she wasn't family she would not be allowed to go with him and so she nodded her head.

"I'm his sister-" "sister's girlfriend" Harry interrupted Katherine gave him a confused look only to find a jaw clenching Harry looking straight at the nurse ignoring her existence all together.

"I'm sorry family only" nurse gave Katherine a sympathetic look taking the packet holding the
X-ray in it before asking Harry to follow her. Before Katherine could complain Harry was away from her in fast strides walking towards a hallway besides the nurse.

Harry walked through the open door into the doctor's office quietly sitting down on the seat.

"Mr. Styles, your X ray shows that you have a thread line fracture to your wrist." Harry cursed under his breath clenching his jaw. That was the only thing that seemed to have gotten Harry's attention because after those words left the doctor's mouth Harry had not paid attention to anything else he was saying. And it was when a prescription was held up to his face was when he came out of his trance like state. He thanked the doctor quickly grabbing the prescription he was out of the room in quick strides.

Katherine's pacing came to a halt when she saw a not so very pleased Harry walking in her direction she noticed a paper in his hand he glanced at her before walking past her out towards the exit Katherine followed. Katherine unlocked the car and they both got inside in silence.

"What did the doctor say?" She asked starting the car. Harry took in a deep breath closing his eyes leaning his head on the headrest. He opened his eyes blinking twice "It's fractured" Katherine's mouth was wide open her heartbeat fast.

"Harry, I'm so sorry this is m-"
"Sister?"

She stopped mid sentence looking at him confused for a few seconds before it hit her what he was referring to.

She shrugged looking ahead starting the car. "That's the first thing that came to my head" she pulled out of the hospital parking onto the main road. Harry scoffed.

"What?" She asked frowning. Harry shook his head.

"You're the one who turned me into a fucking lesbian!" She spoke in her defence. Harry shook his head for what seemed like a countless occurrence.

"Shit I forgot about your prescription" Katherine spoke cursing under her breath in search for a pharmacy anywhere near.

"Don't bother" Harry spoke looking straight ahead ignoring Katherine's burning stare. She huffed annoyed before turning her gaze back onto the road ahead speeding off.

The next morning Katherine was wide awake at 8am she helped with breakfast for her parents and also watered the plants in the front garden. As she was sat in her parents room her father sat next to her on the couch. She turned to him smiling as he ran a hand over her head out of love.
