Katherine and Fai sat in the living room watching a movie only two alone at the house as Liam, Amy and both of their parents went out to meet some people and Samantha went to the airport as her mother was arriving today .

Katherine looked over at Fai who sat on a single seater while Katherine laid on the three seater in the centre of the living area . She contemplated asking him about Samantha .

"Fai" she spoke slowly not sure how to approach him . They were childhood friends and even though Fai was the most fun loving person, he was a very sensitive guy also, very short tempered . He hummed his attention still on the tv . Katherine sighed rolling her eyes she sat up straight clearing her throat .

"Are you seeing someone?" Fai turned his head towards his friend giving her a weird look .

"I love you Kat, but not like that" Katherine rolled her eyes a chuckle leaving Fai's lips .

"I meant Samantha" she spoke causing Fai to break into a smile . "I mean, I really like her and I wanna see where this goes" he nodded .Katherine took in a deep breath frowning , Samantha had not told him the truth she felt a little disappointed .

"Well you're an adult and you can do whatever you want but I'm gonna say one thing Fai, you're my best friend and so is Samantha and, I don't want you or her ending up hurt because of the other. I love you too much to see you hurt or broken and Samantha" Fai smiled at her walking up to her taking a seat next to her putting his arm around her shoulder "I appreciate your concern" Katherine rested her head on on Fai's shoulder "I feel like it's been too long since we have had a heart to heart or even a day to ourselves for a really long time now" Katherine nodded her head agreeing.

"Yeah you're ri.."

"Hello? Oh I'm sorry" Harry spoke up standing before them a suitcase in his hand he looked between Katherine and Fai feeling like he had interrupted something . "Hey! When did you arrive?" Fai got up walking towards Harry shaking his hand. "Just now" Harry spoke nodding his lips in a thin line. "Do you have anymore luggage?" He asked looking at harry he nodded his head. "Just a little bag by the entrance" Fai nodded walking to get it .

"Hi" he spoke looking at Katherine who was still sitting . She smiled getting up "Hi" .

"Come I'll show you the rooms" she spoke Harry nodded following her . "So most of the rooms are already taken there's this one" Katherine spoke taking him to the room next to hers Harry followed her "And the other one is on the left side" she spoke Harry looked around "This is fine" he spoke looking at her "I mean the other one is a little bigger" Katherine rambled Harry shrugged "I mean it's just a bedroom right" he spoke looking at her .

"Katherine?" Fai called out looking for them "In here" she spoke looking at harry nodding "Alright" walked past him exiting when Fai walked up.

"This room?" Fai looked at Katherine trying to cover his smirk "Yeah" she spoke not looking at him walking out. "Thank you" Harry spoke nodding "No problem" Fai "Freshen up and if you want to join us we will be in the living area" Harry nodded closing the door once he was alone .

"O Katherine" Fai shouted walking into the living room sitting next to Katherine "yeah" she spoke looking at her phone . "Alright, why did you give him the room next to yours?" Fai asked smirking gaining a slap on the arm from Katherine "I was showing him his options but he chose to stay in the first room he walked into not that I owe you any explanation" she rolled her eyes.

"I'm just saying" he shrugged still smirking at her .

"Fuck off!" She shouted walking upstairs and into her room shutting her door behind her .
