3 Years and 8 months later:

Life, it has a way of changing in such a way that we are left shocked. For some, it brings joy, whereas for the others it snatches everything from them. Whether it be financially, physically or emotionally.

This world is nothing but a curse, and everything in it is cursed. But we, we find comfort and happiness in this cursed world.

Isn't that sad?

Yes. Do we do something about it?

No!

Because if we don't have these things, what do we have then?

We humans are very vulnerable. There is no 'Independent' only "Dependant". The 'IN' is not how it is in this world. Everything is dependent upon the other.

Samantha Hay:

I sat on the couch in my room looking out the window watching the sunset. Sighing I stared at the window for another minute before standing up making my way towards the kitchen.

I wasn't hungry just wanted to get occupied so I opened my fridge looking at my options.

"Huh, non" I rolled my eyes slamming the door shut. It wasn't something new. I had been so busy for the past month that I rarely went for groceries.

To say my routine lately has been hectic would be an understatement. I went to my room opening my closet taking out a pair of sneakers and my purse.

I locked my apartment door making my way towards the elevator. When the elevator doors open I am met with a warm face smiling at me.

"Hello Samantha! How are you" I smiled as I answered "I'm just a little exhausted. How are you" I ask Ahmed the manager of the place he was an awfully humble man in his mid forties who became one of my first friends in Dubai.

"I'm wonderful. Are you headed out? "

"Yeah, I'm in need of fresh air and some food" I smiled at him

"I'll see you around" I nodded as I walked out the building towards the parking lot.

Moving to Dubai was the greatest decision I had ever made. Not only did I get to explore the beautiful culture, I was given the warmest welcome on my first day here. The people are so nice, friendly and respectful. And the fact that I was working in a really good company as a manager for which I worked my ass off  and my pay check was amazing!

I got into my Bentley that I purchased my fifth month in Dubai (thanks to the generous pay checks and an exchange of my old car)
I turned on the radio and drove myself to Spinneys.
