Alison

Sammy and I were talking and giggling during the whole introduction, which was kind of stupid because we had no idea how we would find our rooms. We eventually need to ask around, but that will sure as hell be Sammys part.

"So where is you're room acutely?" I asked when the introduction was over.

"Oh no I don't live at the campus, I have my own place near by. My parents thought that would be a better idea, so I don't get distracted by anyone. But well there will be a hell lot of parties at my place!" she exclaimed while laughing. Wow, well her parents need to be rich, apartments in Washington were expensive.

"That's cool. I'm living in one of the dorms. I'm here due to a scholarship so I didn't really had a say in anything. But luckily I'm having my own bedroom. I'm kind of nervous about meeting them." I admitted while turning slightly pink.

"How comes you haven't already met them?"

"Well, I maybe ,kind of ,arrived last night and left really early this morning because I didn't want them to meet me... You know I'm kind of shy, so I want to meet them rather later  than sooner." I scratched my neck again.

"You're so weird." she laughed again. "How can you be so shy? Nobody will kill you here, what's the worst that could happen?" she shook her head amused. If she knows...

"I don't know. I don't know anybody here, so it's hart for me to, you know, catch up, I guess." I lied.

"Well now you have me, and belief me you will get to know a lot of people." she giggled while laying her arm around my shoulder, which was kind of random because she was so short and needed to lift her arm a bit to high to make it seem comfortable.

I smiled at her. This is not working out the way I expected. What's wrong with only knowing one person and just, well, you know, be nobody. But she was so cool and we had a lot of fun, I didn't want to loose her, but I don't want to be part of the knows-everybody-and-is-always-partying- squad. Well I think this will be difficult. But okay it's the first day so hopefully when the whole learning part starts things will settle down. Maybe I will even be so distracted that she will lose interest in me. Even though it would be a pity.

"I think we should start now." she exclaimed while walking over to a little group of 3 girls talking. Oh no pleas not. I didn't want to follow her but she grabbed my arm and lightly forced me to follow her. Nice way to start being invisible, Alison.

"Hey I'm Sammy and this is Lis, are you new as well?" she asked with a perfect simile on her face. You can't start a conversation like this... right? Oh my goodness that will be hart. I already felt my cheeks burning, I'm probably looking like a tomato, nice.

"Hey, I'm Kimberly, this is Melissa and Anna." Kimberly's a brown girl who's really curvy, maybe even a bit chubby, but who am I to judge. She still has a cute face with dark brown eyes. Melissa has mid-long black hair, and a tattoo on her underarm. I think she will probably party harder that Sammy, but don't judge a book by it's cover, right. Anna is really tall, probably 5'9 and really skinny, and yes I am jealous. Even though she hasn't got the same cute faces like the others, she looks rather serious. And well, I didn't felt comfortable around her, but maybe I can blame the situation for this.

"It's really nice here, even though Lis and I haven't listen for a second. It will be fun finding the rooms." Sammy laughed.

"Oh yes this is a good way to start." Anna answered sarcastically and I immediately felt stupid. Looking down at my feet I felt my cheeks heat up again. What have I gotten myself into?

"We'll handle it." Sammy answered smiling. It was obvious that Sammy didn't like the comment as well.

"Sorry Anna is kind of a bitch when it comes to school, she always has been." Melissa laughed and elbowed Anna, who glared at her while rubbing her side.

"So you already knew each other?" Sammy answered, keeping the conversation up smoothly. Wow, maybe she can teach me how to have small talk like that.

"Yes, we wanted to go to the same college, even though it was hard keeping up with Anna. Have you know each other before?" Kimberly laughed again. Anna smiled. I didn't like her.

"Oh no I'm from LA." Sammy laughed, making the LA sign with her hands. I smiled at her goofiness. The others laughed as well and then started looking at me. Oh shit it's my turn.

"Oh, ah, I'm from a little village near New York." I stammered. While scratching my neck. I do need to get rid of this habit.

"So you've ever been in New York?" Melissa asked me smiling, knowing that I wouldn't say more if you wouldn't ask me.

"Yes a few times, it is only half a hour away." I answered feeling lightly uncomfortable for not being able to answer more.

"That's cool." Kimberly stated while looking back at Sammy. "And yours is sick. LA how comes you want to be here?" she laughed gesturing around her.

"Wanted a change." Sammy replied shortly.

"So you are from Washington?" I asked feeling brave for taking part in the conversation.

"Yes." Anna stated, not saying anything more. It became quiet, nice way to go Alison.

"So where are you living? At the dorms or on your own?" Sammy asked feeling how I got uncomfortable.

"We have an apartment together. Anna is there to remind us to study and we to remind her to party as well." Kimberly laughed. "But we should get going before it starts raining, Welcome to Washington by the way." We laughed at her comment.

"Oh how lovely." Sammy laughed while we left the building.
