Luke
"Lis!" Sammy shouted after Lis ran off. I heard myself shouting as well, but she didn't stop. Fuck. I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"You fucked up, man." Ashton said quietly. My head sunk. Fuck.
"What the fuck was that Luke? What were you meaning?" Sammy turned to me talking rather aggressively.
"I... I don't know, I just recognized her."
"Yeah and you were talking like a damn asshole! What's wrong with you? "Oh yes I bullied her, no problem for me."" Sammy mocked me.
"Wait a second, I didn't, like not really that much. I just didn't really care about her, but I was friends with her bullies." Okay, I think I'm not making this any better.
"So you're feeling good now?" Sammy raised an eyebrow.
"Of course not. I... I don't know. I should apologize, I guess." I scratched my neck feeling super uncomfortable in this situation.
"You guess? Fuck you, I won't let you any near her, what the fuck went wrong in your brain..." Sammy raged out walking towards me. I quickly took some steps back, eyes widening.
"Wait, wait, calm down baby, we should talk about this." Calum said soothingly hugging Sammy from behind. Thanks, bro.
"Talk? What should we talk about?"
"Well, calm the heck down. He has done a mistake but don't blame him. It's not like you haven't made one in your whole life!" Ashton interrupted sounding super annoyed. We all looked at him kind of shocked for raising his voice. Ashton was normally the calmest one, when there's a problem, we're always getting Ashton involved to sooth the vibes.
"What?" Sammy just said as taken aback as everyone else.
"I mean, of course it's not okay, but everybody deserves second chances and he's sorry, so let him be sorry." Ashton added now having the full attention on him.
"Oh, yes I will let you be sorry." Sammy said turning back to me. "Okay, well. Talk to her, but I don't think she likes to talk to you. You'll need to be sorry for quiet some time."
"Thanks." I said relieved that she won't kill me for trying to talk to Lis.
"You don't need to thank me." Sammy laughed sarcastically. "I still can't stand you anymore."
"I'll make it up to you ass well, but first I need to talk to Lis."
"Why were you talking in asshole-mode anyway?" Calum asked a bit amused by the situation. Calum's not the sensitive type, sometimes I can only shake my head about his lack of feelings. But well, he's still my bro.
"I don't know. I was thinking after talking."
"Wouldn't be the first time." Sammy whispered.
"Don't worry Luke, there's nothing that can't be fixed. You know, if you can't duck it fuck it, both wouldn't be that bad, right." Ashton winked trying to ease up the moment. We all looked at him with "what the fuck" written all over our faces.
"Just shut up Ash. Thank god you're not taking any philosophy courses." Calum laughed.
"I don't even get what you're trying to mean." Sammy said still looking at him like he was a pink elephant. It was her first time hearing Ashton trying to be philosophic, so we can't blame her for being lost.
We were laughing, Calum giving her a kiss on the cheek reminded me of Ash liking Sammy, so I quickly shut up trying to not make the moment be any more uncomfortable for him.
