Alison

It is Friday. You know what this means? My first party will be tonight. It was nearly 5pm, so I got ready to go to Sammy. Before I went out of the room I took a quick glance at the mirror. I wore a dark purple sweatshirt and a pair of ripped jeans. My hair were put in a high ponytail. I liked the way I looked to be honest. Don't look at the mirror for too long Alison or you will grab your pullover. Going out of my room, I shouted a quick bye and closed the front door behind me.

Sammy told me her address so I asked google how to get there. It wasn't far away, maybe 10 minutes to walk. I put my earbuds in looking at my mobile to decide which song to play. When I looked back up I saw Anna and Kimy walking by.

"Are you coming tonight, Anna?" I asked smiling at her.

"Probably. Think I have no choice." she laughed. Anna eased a bit up lately. It isn't just me who has problems with meeting new people, I guess. I smiled at her.

Lightly nodding my head to the music, I made my way to Sammys home. When I ran her doorbell she opened quickly.

"Hey, Li... What the heck are you wearing?" she stocked half way. I looked down at myself feeling self-conscious. Shouldn't I have worn it? I thought it was okay. Stupid me. I turned lightly red looking at the floor.

"Sorry, I thought it looked okay."

"Yes, okay but not sexy. You want to be okay or  sexy?" she asked while pushing me up the stairs. Her flat has two floors. I wanted to reply but then decided against it. It was probably a rhetoric question.

"What's so wrong about it?I like it." I asked feeling a bit more confident.

"No I like it, you should definitely wear it at school, but we are going to a party. But don't worry I have something for you." she replied still not looking at me. She was in her walk-in closet looking through her clothes. Her parents need to be rich, she had more clothes that some boutique.

"Perfect." she smiled while holding a bright red dress against me. Three months ago my shirts had the same length as the dress right now. She looked up from the dress at my face. Is this a joke? I looked back at her. Okay, she isn't joking.

"Sure as hell not." I stated rising an eyebrow. Was she serious?

"Why not?" she asked. But the way she put it back into the wardrobe, without really trying to convince me, told me that she knew why. Thank god. I stood there rather awkwardly while she kept looking through her clothes mumbling a few things.

"Found it!" she exclaimed holding up a white dress. It was pretty cute, not too short. It was plain beside the little white floral ornaments on the bottom and around the waist. "I wasn't sure if I still have it, it's not really my style, too innocent, you know." she winked at me.

"It's really cute." I said while she gave it to me.

"Nice, you wouldn't have a choice anyway." she laughed while leaving. "Try it on." I stripped out of my clothes putting the dress on. Hopefully it will fit, it would be so embarrassing telling her I am too fat for it. I wasn't able to zip it up, so I went out asking Sammy if she could do it.

"You look pretty." She looked at me through the mirror. I felt kind of exposed because the dress ended mid-thigh.

"I don't know... I felt more comfortable in my clothes. It's a bit short and it's cold outside, you know." I tried to convince her but she only raised an eyebrow.

"To cold, hm? It's a party, so it's inside, you won't be freezing." My excuse didn't convince her much, I would say. I sighed looking back in the mirror. The dress did look pretty. It was tight enough showing that I got some waist but not too tight. Yes I need to admit it was pretty, but... I don't know, I'm just way to self-conscious to really accept something where my legs are exposed.

"What are you wearing anyway?" I asked. She just winked grinning. Without answering she walked into her closet, coming out only a few minutes later. She wore a similar red dress, like the one before, beside that material around her waist was see-through. I gulped, she looked really sexy. I know that she's confident but this was much, or rather less.

"It's sexy right?" she asked turning around in front of the mirror.

"Yes. Calum probably won't be able to keep his eyes off." I told her smiling.

"Or his hands." she laughed. I laughed as well, not really sure if she was serious. But who am I to judge? I dreamed about looking like her and getting the guy I liked, as well.

"Probably."

"So, you gonna try to make a move as well tonight?" she asked me.

"What?"

"You know what I mean. Luke will be there tonight as well." she winked.

"I still don't like him." I told her getting kind of annoyed.

"So you haven't be sleeping in his shirt?" I turned bright red. I wasn't only sleeping in it to be honest, I wore it all the time when I was alone at my room. But how did she know? "The color of your face is telling me that I'm right. So don't try to convince yourself by telling me."

This was hart. Did I really like Luke like that? I wouldn't say so. I mean, in the end I'm still afraid of him, hoping he won't find out who I am. And still he had been bullying me at high school. On the other hand, why was I always in his shirt? I'm having oversized shirts myself, but I'm still only wearing his. Oh damn it, this is so fucked up.

"When are we going anyway?" I asked looking at the clock. It was 6pm already and Sammy just started to do her make-up.

"I thought about leaving at half past 8 so we will be there around 9. If this is okay for you?" I nodded my head. Does it really take two hours to do her make up?

"It's fine. Can I help you somehow?" I asked not really sure what to do.

"You can put on some music, the Bluetooth-box is standing right over there." I would say this is a no.

"So, are you still trying to get together with Calum, or rather... you know." I felt kind of uncomfortable at the thought of Sammy having one night stands.

"Do you really think I would have chilled with him the whole week if I didn't? If I'd like to just have sex with him, I would have asked already."

"Asked?" I laughed, it sounded so weird. How are you asking for it?

"Not ask, like asking for a pencil. I mean I would have made it more obvious and let things develop."

"Oh. Sorry, I'm not into this so much." I admitted the first time, but to be honest, she probably already realized that.

"You hadn't much friends at high school, may it be?" she asked directly, looking at me through the mirror.

"Not really. Things were a bit different." I admitted looking down, I felt how tears started to build  up. No not now Alison. I gulped it down and smiled at her. She smiled back.

"But now you have me and belief me, I won't leave you alone that easy." I giggled at the ugly face she made. "That's better. We want to party tonight and you know, no crying and drinking."

"Oh god. Well I hope it will be fun tonight." I smiled.
