The next day was like any other Sunday. Which, now that I had experienced the 'Austin way of life', I kinda hated it. I got up, and all I ever really had planned on Sundays was the AA meeting. Today, though, I had a particular reason to be excited and rush to get there.I wanted to see if Austin had anything unusually spectacular for me to experience again. I wasn't going to lie, yesterday I had felt the most exhilarated than I had in a while, and I craved more of it. I had only had a taste of this new lifestyle, and I already wanted more.
I guess I got to the meeting too early, because he wasn't there when I arrived.Actually, he came in right as it began. I watched as he took a seat across the room, and licked his lips. I couldnt stop my eyes from glancing over for the majority of the meeting. He held a blank face for the most part, and I couldn't really say he was a contributor to our cause. He rarely spoke.Ever. Either he was here to listen, or here to just flat out waste time.
A stupid goofy grin spread on my face when the meeting ended and he was walking over to me. He had his hands in his pockets, like he always did, and lazily strided over. His backward cap screamed an 'I'm too cool for everyone here' vibe.
He was a few feet away from me, when a girl stepped in. She wore a ridiculous bright pink sweatsuit, with matching barrets to decorate her bleach blonde mess of a perm.Humongous golden hoops dangled from her ear lobes, and she hobbled on skyscrapers of shoes. Her eye lashes were similar to those of a spider, and anyone could tell she was purposely bending her back to show off more of her rack. She was a walking cliche. Everything about her was '80s latest trends' and 'Ms.Popular', but I didn't like it.Maybe I was too cool for this era, too.
"Hey Austin", she twirled her hair in between her fingers.
"Uh, hey Dot."
"So, listen, you never called me again", her red fingernails ran up and down his arm, "but maybe we could go get a drink later?"
I scoffed. Did anyone actually come to these meetings to get help?
"I don't know Dot.."
"Baby, don't be like that", she desperately snaked her arms around his waist.
"Maybe after we could have a little fun at my place", she slipped her fingers under his shirt, and he smirked, giving her all the confirmation she needed.
"I knew you'd be up for it.Call me later, okay?", she winked before prancing away.
"Sorr-"
"Hey Austin!", another group of girls fangirled a few seats away. He waved.
"Sorry", he laughed turning back to me.
"Well well well Mr.Mahone, I never noticed how much of a hit you were with the ladies.", I poked his shoulder. It was true.I guess I had never really focused on anybody until a few weeks ago.
"I told you I come for the girls.", he shrugged. He turned around, the group of girls still starstruck and staring at him. I peaked over his shoulder, and noticed that even more had congregated around us.
"Damn, what'd you do, sleep with all of them?"
His smirk said it all.
"Not yet.", he bit his lip, inching closer.
My cheeks burned red.
"Please", I rolled my eyes,"I'm not your type."
"Oh?", he raised an eyebrow.
"Ya, I mean, they're all so easy.Sorry to tell you Austin, but if you only hit on drunkards, I don't think you really have any game.Even I could get them into bed."
