Ok guys, like I said from the beginning, I intended this to be a short story. I decided to end it here, because like Maisy said, sometimes even the greatest stories have unclear endings. And I liked that. It should be completely up to you whether they survive, or die, or one lives and the other doesn't.

And sorry if it was kind of an abrupt ending, but I have gotten a little bored with this story to be honest. However, I have another short story (Austin fanfic) in the works, The Cinderella Man.
Here's the story details:
Starting in late 2020, the United States was hit with the longest and most deep economic downturn since the Great Depression. Spending money on entertainment was out of the question for most people.Only the elite of the entertainers kept their riches. The others, however, were left to the streets and dust, where singing and acting, would prove to be a nonessential trade in life.
