19- Explanations

"You're going to do what?" Kayla asks shocked as she walked towards her not looking happy.

"I called my doctor on the way here, I plan on having the mirena removed."

"Why on earth would you do that?"

"I don't know, I was doing some thinking last night and this morning. You're only suppose to have it in for up to five years, I've had it in a little over five years now, so it's probably not as effective right now anyways, and with all the sex Aiden and I have been having, I would hate to get pregnant with that still in and have problems." Jessica explains.

"Have you talked with Aiden about it?" Kayla asks concerned.

"No... not yet, but I will."

"Well you better, that's a huge decision that should be made between the both of you."

"Kayla, either way I have to have it removed."

Kayla gives her a look, a serious look "Are you sure there are no other intentions on why you're doing this?"

"Why would you ask that?"

"Because I don't want to see you do something stupid again and regret it..." She pauses after she realized what she had just said, she looks away from her "Shit... I didn't mean it that way." She says and looks back at her. "What I meant was that I don't want to see you make a mistake, having a child is a huge responsibility, and if that is what you're wanting then you really need to talk to him about this. Christ Jess, you guys have only been together what two or three weeks?"

"I hear what you're saying, I know what I'm doing and I will be talking to him, like I said it's been in longer than it should be and I would hate to become pregnant with that still in. There are all kinds of risks."

Jessica puts her hand on the door and looks back at Kayla. "I guess I'll talk to you later and let you get ready for work."

On her way back to Aiden's she thought about what she had planned to do and called Aiden, she figured he was flying when he didn't answer so she left him a message to call her right away.

Since she had nothing to do she decided to use her voucher that she had won to go get a massage, as well as to go get her hair and nails done.

Aidan had finally landed at his last destination for the night and had checked into a hotel, he changed into comfortable clothes and then listened to his messages, he smiled when he heard Jessica's voice and then got curious as to what she needed when she asked for him to call her A.S.A.P.

He started to call her and then hung up when there was a knock at the door. He opened the door and was surprised to see a couple of pilots and some flight attendants standing at the door.

"Hey Aiden, since we all don't fly out until tomorrow night we are all heading down to grab a bite to eat and let loose, you interested? Aiden looks down at his phone and back up to the pilot.

"Sure, I was just going to call the better half, I guess I can give her a call tomorrow she's probably sleeping anyways." He says when he notices the time. "Are they serving food this late at night?"

"Just appetizers right now."

"I suppose that'll work." He says as he grabs his door key off the dresser and heads out.

They end up ordering a variety of appetizers and some drinks. "So when did you get married?" One of the flight attendants ask.

"Married?" Aiden asked confused.

"You said your better half, so I assumed you had finally gotten married."

Aiden laughed and had gotten a vision of Jessica, he stared at his bottle of beer he held in his hand for a second and picked at the label with his thumb. "No I haven't gotten married yet, but I have a feeling the gal that I'm with... I think she's the one." He smiled.
