Jessica stands there looking at Aiden's mom she was tall, slender and was dressed elegantly, her hair was the color of salt and pepper. His dad was tall with all grey hair and was dressed casual. She thought they looked like nice people. Her heart dropped when his mom looked over at her. "And who is this?" His mom asked curiously.

Aiden stepped back and placed his hand on the small of her back "Mom, Dad this is my girlfriend Jessica." Jessica reached her hand out to shake their hands.

"Nice to meet you." Jessica says quietly with a smile.

Aidens mom looked at Aiden confused but didn't say another word and sat back down. Aiden pulled out a chair for Jessica to sit down, he then helped scoot her in after she had sat down.

Jessica had a feeling that there were going to be many questions and sat there thinking trying to come up with answers she thought would come up. She was nervous but wasn't about to let it show.

"So Aiden I'm a little shocked here, what happened to Savannah? I was expecting to finally meet her after hearing so much about her." Aiden's mom asks with a curious look.

Aiden looked over at Jessica and placed his hand on her thigh squeezing it. "Well it just didn't work out between us, so here we are." Jessica rested her hand on top of Aiden's hand. She had been debating on just telling them the truth, thinking that they are bound to find out the truth anyways. She didn't think that it would be right to lie to them, especially now that they are officially a couple.

Jessica looked at Aiden, having him lean down to her, she whispered in his ear and gave her a shocked look. He whispered back in her ear looking over at his mom and sat up.

"Something wrong?" Kyle asked.

"I need to use the restroom quick." Jessica says standing up.

Jessica left the table and headed towards the restroom. She walked in and walked towards the sink. She stood in front of the mirror looking at herself, she ran some cold water and splashed the water on her neck. "Relax Jessica." She mumbled. "Just tell them the truth..." She mumbled again.

Meanwhile at the table Aiden was talking to Kyle when he got interrupted "So I was expecting to meet this Savannah you had been dating for a while, what happened with her?" Aiden's mother asks again as she takes a drink of her water.

"It just didn't work out, I don't really care to talk about that right now, what I can say is that I'm glad that we didn't work out, I never would have met Jessica."

"So where did you meet her at?" Aiden's father asks.

The waitress then interrupted their conversation, Aiden had felt a little relieved since Jessica was still away from the table. Jessica sat down as they were giving the waitress their order. "Sorry about that." Jessica said quietly. All eyes were on Jessica when she ordered her food, she didn't order much. Her stomach was in knots and didn't feel all that hungry so she ordered a cup of soup and a side salad.

"No wonder you're so thin." Aiden's mom blurted out.

"Are you sure you don't want anything else?" Aiden asks.

Jessica shook her head no "No, I'm really not that hungry."

"We can order some appetizers, you need to put some meat on them bones." Aiden's mom smiled, she looked at the waitress and ordered a variety of appetizers.

"So.." Aiden's mom says looking at Jessica "We never got properly introduced." She says looking over at Aiden.

"I'm sorry.... Jessica this is my mom Olivia, and my father Robert Parker, Mom, dad.. This is Jessica Baker. I should have known better." Aiden says feeling ashamed.
