21- Adventuring Hawaii

For breakfast, Aiden had ordered in room service as they both didn't feel like leaving the room yet, they were sitting at the table eating while looking at some fliers and travel guides of Kauai. "Do you see anything that interests you?" Aiden asks.

Jessica nods her head "Well there are a few things that stick out, but this one looks like it would be really pretty and interesting to see." She points to the Na Pali Coast "I think it would be fun to go on a helicopter to see the views of that, it looks just beautiful." She says with a sparkle in her eye.

"We can do that if you would like, have you ever been on a helicopter?'

"No, why?" She says shaking her head.

He laughs "Well they are noisy and you have to wear headphones, the feeling is much different than being on an airplane, it's more of a bumpy ride and you're crammed in it, not to mention if you're afraid of heights I recommend that you not look down from your side. But if you would like to try it we can definitely do that."

Jessica thinks about it "Well... I am not good with heights, but what the hell... I'll try it."

"Well alright, you know you're in for a ride now." He smiles.

They take their showers and get ready to go. On the way there Aiden would get a chuckle every now and then thinking of how Jessica will react to being on a helicopter, he had a feeling that she might not like it. He placed his hand on her thigh and looks over at her "Are you getting nervous yet?"

"No, I'm actually excited." She grinned.

"Will see about that..." He chuckled.

"If you're lucky you might get to see some dolphins if you like those."

"That would be really neat to see, I have always wanted to go swimming with them." She says excited, she looks out the window and is in awe looking at all the scenery "Wow, Hawaii is really beautiful."

"It is, so much to see and do." He says looking at her, taking the back of his hand and had caressed her cheek. He then focused back on the road. As they were approaching reality set in with Jessica and she started feeling nervous.

"You know you can back out now if you want and we can go on a boat instead."

"No... that's ok, I'll try the helicopter." She says taking a deep breath.

Aiden meets with the guide pilot and pays him, he takes the headphones from him and hands a set to Jessica. "Here put these on." He says before getting on the helicopter.

"Wow, you're really crammed in here aren't you." Jessica smiled a nervous smile.

"I warned you." He smiled.

When they took off Jessica held onto her stomach, she felt like her stomach was left on the ground. Aiden wrapped an arm around her trying to comfort her and to get her to relax. He could feel that she was super tense. The guide took them over the mountains and edges of the caves also showing them the views of how blue that water was. Jessica was wowed by the scenery, the mountains, the green views of the mountains, the cliffs and she especially loved the waterfalls. She took as many pictures as she could.

Aiden then nudged Jessica when he saw dolphins jumping out of the water and a couple whales that had surfaced, he had pointed for her to see. The pilot then landed on the island so they could walk the sandy beach, while walking the beach they were able to see some monk seals nearby. She tried going up to the seals, but they scattered the closer she got to them, the pilot then took them over to one of the waterfalls to take their picture with the waterfall in the background.

After they saw everything they needed to see they get back in the helicopter. Jessica felt like she was going to throw up when they took off, especially when the pilot took them flying through the mountains.
