23- Truth be told

"I'll take a beer and a long island iced tea." Aiden says to the bartender.

Olivia walks up to Aiden and places her hand on his back. "You have a lovely girl there Aiden."

"Thanks mom, she means a lot to me."

"I see the way you look at her, there must be another wedding in the works?" Olivia grins.

Aiden smiles and let's out a small chuckle. "We're still new yet, but to tell you the truth I have thought about what it would be like if she was my wife. I would love nothing more."

"Take your time, you want to make sure they are the right one before making a big decision." Olivia says as she pinches his chin.

Aiden places his hand on hers and pulls her hand away. "I already know she's the one, I feel it. It's a much different feeling than the last one." He says looking over at the two drinks he ordered.

"I better grab these and go find her." He turns around and sees a man standing behind Jessica with his hands on her shoulders. Taking the drinks "Excuse me, looks like she might need some help."

Drinks hand in hand Aiden walks towards Jessica, he sees her turn around with a shocked look on her face, with his heart beating a little faster he walks a little faster to her.

Aiden hears her say something to him, "I don't understand, what are you doing here?" He walked up next to her placing a kiss on her lips handing her the drink.

"Sorry it took so long, my mother stopped to talk to me." He looks into her eyes as she's staring at the man standing in front of her, he saw what looked like fear. He turned around quickly to see who it was and was surprised to see who was standing there.

"Officer Logren what are you doing here?" Aiden says surprised.

Kyle and Kristina saw Aiden talking to Toby and they both walked over there. Kristina looks at Aiden and smiles "I see you met my brother."

"Brother?" Jessica asks shocked.

"Yea, he is the reason for us today." Kristina says with a smile giving Kyle a kiss.

"Toby is a good friend of mine, he hooked us up three years ago." Kyle explains. "Why? Do you know each other?"

"Yea we do." Toby says still looking at Jessica.

It then hit Kyle, he put his hand up to his mouth sliding his hand down tracing his lips, Jessica knew he figured it out and started to feel sick to her stomach. "You're the one he was going to propose to!" Kyle said shocked. "That's why your name sounded so familiar." He looked over at Aiden "And you're the reason it never happened. Did you know about him?"

"Yes I did." He says still in shock at who he was.

"WOW." Kyle says surprised, letting out a shocked laugh. He looks at Jessica and was about to ask her a question, she got a break when Kyle and Kristina were called over to their table, and it was announced for everyone to take their seats so they could start the dinner.

Aiden placed his hand on the small of Jessica's back and walked her over to the table. "I don't feel so well." She says quietly to Aiden, as they are walking over to their table.

"Will get through the night." He says giving her a squeeze, kissing the top of her head.

They sit down with his parents, Olivia could sense something wasn't right by the expression on Jessica's face. She looked at Aiden and leaned into his ear. "Is she OK?"

"She's fine, we just had a little surprise that's all." Aiden says looking at his mom. 

Their meals arrive and are placed in front of them, "Looks wonderful." Olivia says as she looks at her plate. Jessica starts taking nibbles of her prime rib, worried that Toby is going to cause some problems, she happened to look up and saw Toby watching her, she quickly looked away and looked over at Aiden.
