24- The apology

Aiden woke up to someone banging on the door. Trying to adjust his eyes, he looked over at Jessica who was sound asleep. After a long night of rough wild sex he figured he wouldn't wake her.

Slowly climbing out of bed he looked for some pants to put on and found his pants from last night on the floor and put them on quick. The knocking continued "Alright, alright I'm coming." He moaned out frustrated.

He opened the door and saw Kyle standing there. "Jesus Kyle, what is so important that couldn't wait, were still sleeping here."

"We need to talk." Kyle says impatiently.

Aiden aggravated and tired gives him a dirty look "Can't it wait?"

"No, put some clothes on and meet me outside."

Aiden rubs his face turning to look at Jessica. He turns around and gives Kyle a dirty look. "Give me ten minutes." He sighs. "This better be important." He says closing the door in his face.

Aiden grabs a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to throw on quick and heads down to meet Kyle. As he's walking down the hall he's cussing Kyle out for waking him up so early. He walks outside and sees Kyle standing there leaning against the pillar.

"What the hell man?" Aiden snaps. "Shouldn't you be sleeping still?" Aiden says frustrated.

"How well do you know this Jessica?"

"Very well.. why?"

"I was doing the math after talking with Toby, you do know that they were together when you two got together right?"

Aiden laughs, not believing what he is hearing. "Are you fucking serious?" Aiden shakes his head and looks up at the sky with a grin.

"I am being serious. Toby tried proposing to her to which she turned down saying that she met someone else. Which obviously was you. She's a cheater man." Kyle says looking at him with squinty eyes.

"Maybe you should have another conversation with Toby and find out the truth, they were never together."

"What do you mean they were never together? They were together for a long time, he was always talking about her, they have pictures together. I never saw them but Kristina has. Kristina recognized her, she just couldn't place the face until last night."

"Dude.. your an idiot. She was never his, and if he cannot tell you the truth then maybe I should." Aiden mocks. "Toby was hiring her for over a year for dates. She worked for a date for hire company." Aiden laughs. "Wow, I cannot believe he had you two fooled."

"I don't understand."

"I'm sure you don't, anytime he needed a date he ordered her everytime, that guy who you call as a friend and now brother in law is not who you think he is, he's obsessed with her, he was even sending her pictures of his little worm!" Aiden says frustrated.

Kyle stood there shocked, trying to take it all in "So how did you meet her?"

"Through the same company, when Savannah turned me down about coming here, I didn't know what to do, well you know Kevin, he told me about the rent a date, I checked it out and picked a couple different girls to be my date. Well the next day we went out to get to know each other, I was little shocked that it was a different girl who I had originally picked. We actually hit it off and the more we spent time together we ended up turning into a couple."

Kyle let out a shocked laugh "So you were going to hire someone to come here. Wow."

"Yea well I'm glad it worked out the way it did. That girl is amazing and I'm very much in love with her."
