“The usual?” The bartender asked

“Make it two,” Ciara said, looking back at the table

Katherine folded the napkin multiple times then unfold it. Her mind going insane as memories and thoughts ran through her mind. This was the first time she let all her emotions out, but there were more to come. A glass was placed in front of her, she looked up and Ciara was sitting right in front of her.

“What is this?” Katherine asked, staring at the liquid

“It’s good for you. Now, drink.” Ciara said, drinking her liquor

Katherine set the napkin aside and picked the drink up. She swirled it around and lift it to her mouth and took a gulp. Katherine cough as the liquor burned her throat.

“Katherine, are you okay?” Ciara asked

“Yeah, just want I needed.” Katherine cough, but took a sip of her drink

“Don’t force yourself, Kat,” Ciara said, setting her drink down

“I really need this. My mind is going insane.” Katherine said, a smile appearing

“I never wanted to marry, but it's a possibility,” Katherine said, tapping the glass cup

“Weren’t you married before?” Lisa asked, confused

“Yes, but it was a lie.” Katherine sigh

“Katherine, I think that’s enough drinking,” Ciara said, grabbing her cup

“No, I’m fine, Ciara.” Grabbing her drink, “And look I’m making friends.” Nodding at the group of people surrounding the table

“Ay, Ciara, why didn’t you introduce Katherine to us earlier?”

“Timothy, you’re a man-whore,” Ciara said, tipping a sip from her drink

“Bad Timothy. You shouldn’t be like that because karma will bite you unexpectedly.” Katherine said, shaking her head

“Hey, what about you? You just told all of us that you want to kill people.” Timothy said

“You got me there, but I’m intoxicated. So, I’m just saying nonsense.” Katherine said

“You know, alcohol reveals all your deepest secrets,” Kellen said

Katherine looked at his cup which was water, “Is that why your drinking water?”

Kellen eyes widened, “I don’t like alcohol.” Drinking his water

The group was filled with laughter. Katherine never felt so relaxed and happy while being with people. Even they don’t know who she is.

“Is there a Marie here?” A shout was heard

“Here!” Katherine yelled, standing up and raising her hand

“Katherine, that isn’t your name,” Kellen said

“Yes, it is.” Katherine smiled

Katherine looked around, trying to spot the bartender, who yelled. Ciara stood beside Katherine. Katherine burst into giggles when she saw Nathaniel storming towards her.

“Nat! You’re here!” Katherine yelled, skipping to him

Nathaniel placed his hands on her shoulders and stared her down, “Are you drunk?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Katherine giggled

“Marie, we're going home,” Nathaniel said, grabbing her hand and walking off with her
