Katherine Marie Lynch. Twenty six years old. Ruler of Xiao for nine years. Found cold and breathing shallowly on the rocky, dirt shore of Lake Oti. A child found her and dragged her back to their house.

“What is this?”

“I found her by the lake.”

“Why bring her here?”

“You said, to help people when they are in need.”

“Ro, this woman is dead.”

“She’s not mom. She is breathing, but she looks pale.” Ro said

“Help me place on the table.”
Katherine was lifted from the ground to the table. She groan when her back collided with the table.

“Oh my god.”

“I told you.” Ro squealed

“Oh hush now. Bring the herbs and first aid kit to the table.”

Black was all Katherine could see. Wondering what happened. She knew she was in pain.

“Oh god. Ro, get me my bag.” The mother's voice became panicked

“Here you go.”

Out of nowhere, Katherine let out a scream. Her body jerking as pain course throughout her body.

“Ro, get s-”

“Skullcap. I have it.” Ro placed the herb by Katherine’s nose, but placed it in her mouth when it wasn’t working

Katherine stopped jerking, but her screaming continued. Ro’s mother continue to take care of Katherine.

Oslo’s P.O.V.

“Oslo, how does this look?” Kana asked

Oslo looked at Kana, trying to keep his eyes awake

“It looks beautiful.” Oslo said, his eyes drooping

Kana smacked his shoulder and he jolted.

“Why did you hit me?” Oslo said, rubbing his shoulder and glared at Kana

“What is going on with you? It’s been two weeks since Katherine died.” Kana asked, her hands on her hip

“You went ahead with the plan a month before the plan was supposed to happen.” Oslo said

“I told Ko whenever he wants too because I heard something interesting.” Kana said, wrapping her arms around Oslo’s neck from behind

“Like what?” Oslo asked, his heart racing

“That Katherine was expecting.” Kana whispered in his ear

“Who told you?” Oslo asked, his heart racing even more

“Ko. Why didn’t you tell me?” Kana said, pouting

Oslo turned around to face her, “It happened all of a sudden. I didn’t tell you because it wasn’t that important.”

“It is to me. You got that bastard pregnant and what if the country got news about it.” Kana exclaimed

“I told Katherine, we will hold off telling about her pregnancy until she was in her second trimester.” Oslo said, taking Kana arms off of him and standing

“Do you love her?” Kana asked, Oslo quickly looked at her

“I only love you, Kana. My love for her was just a act. I promise you.” Oslo said, kissing her
