N yawned as she walked into the hotel. It was the morning after the incident with the ad and she had just dropped off the videotape.

She walked through the lobby and into the elevator, pressing the button of the floor that her boss was on. Although he was probably still sleeping, she wanted to tell him that the ad had been safely delivered.

The elevator opened and N walked past the doors, stopping in front of the Once-ler's. She knocked, waiting for an answer.

After a few moments, the door opened and the Once-ler, looking very sleepy, stood there wearing bunny pajamas.

"I dropped off the ad at the broadcasting company... this..."

Realizing that he was in his pajamas, N stopped. The Once-ler glanced down, and they both shrieked before he slammed the door. N covered her face, not knowing whether to laugh or be disturbed.

     "J-just a second!" the Once-ler called.

He opened the door, wearing the outfit that N had seen from FN's video. He straightened out his fedora and gave a sheepish smile.

N stared for a second, her heart skipping a beat.

"I... uh... dropped the studio off at the ad... I-I mean... Um, what's with the outfit?"

"Well, I couldn't wear my other clothes since the dog... well, you know."

N nodded and they were both quiet. N tried not to stare at him and instead stared at the door.

"Want to see the town together?"

N looked at him and said, "Huh?"

"Want to see the town together?"

The Once-ler smiled like a child asking for a new toy, his eyes sparkling with a hopeful tint. It was odd for N to see her strict and formal boss acting so cheerful. She wondered if this was his true personality that was being suppressed by the atmosphere of business.

"Like... a date?" N asked, worrying that her face would turn red.

     "Yes!" he exclaimed happily.

N took a moment to think about his offer. She had chosen to come with him and it would be odd if she turned him down now. That wasn't all; she didn't want to admit it, but she was falling for the Once-ler little by little. Looking deeper, she wondered whether she had been attracted to him all along or if she was developing a crush on him just then.

"I guess that sounds fun," N said hesitantly.

"Really? Great, because I have the whole day planned out," the Once-ler replied, closing the door and walking past her.

     "Wait, right now?"

"Well, yeah," he said, looking at her as he was walking. He stopped and turned, pointing teasingly. "Unless you have someone else to meet."

N rolled her eyes and followed him to the elevator.

"Wait, you had the day planned?" she asked as he pressed the button on the wall.

     "Yeah... Is that a problem?"

The elevator opened and the pair stepped in.

"No," she said. "It's just... Well, what if I had said no?"
