"John! Hey John!" Billy screams as he bursts through the door with his book bag bouncing against his back.

"What?" John turns away from his desktop to face his best friend. They have known each other for so long they're practically brothers. Billy was a short chunky kid with short cut red hair. John on the other hand was taller and skinny with black hair. He wore glasses but always seemed to be squinting even when wearing them. They were always together except if one of the two didn't go to school. They were welcome into one another's houses as if they lived there and come and go as they please.

"Look what I found on the way from the park!" Billy's face was red and sweaty as if he had been running. Then he turned to open his book bag and emanated  a spherical object that was designed with spirals and markings all around it. It seemed to be illuminating a blue light. John pushed his glasses up onto his face and casually asked

"What is that?"

"It's some kind of magic ball!" Billy replied excitedly.

John shot Billy an evil look and said "Magic? I'll believe that when pigs fly."

Billy's face lit up and he said "That can be arranged." He wiped beads of sweat off his forehead then pushed a button on the sphere. It opened vertically into three parts. A top, middle, and bottom. The middle then opened horizontally to reveal a keypad.

"Alright Billy be careful now." John put his hands up and began to rise from his seat. But Billy was already typing away ignoring John's caveat.

"And now we wait." Billy pushed the button on the sphere and it closed. John looked around nervously then let out a sigh of relief.

"I knew it was just some toy. I mean c'mon Billy, a magic ba-" In that instant a giant flying pig came crashing through the window cutting off John's words. Luckily Billy tackled John out of the way knocking his glasses off.

They sat there silently staring in amazement. A smile slowly crept across Billy's face as he stood and looked at John to see his reaction.

"Thank you." John said getting up slowly and picking his glasses up off the floor pushing them back onto his face. The pig twitched a couple of times on the floor then it's body went limp. It seemed to have died in the crash. John then turned from the dead animal to the gaping hole in the wall where there was a swarm of pigs flying about. They had taken over the sky. John stared with his mouth agape then turned to his friend. "Okay, I believe you now."
