Dinger and Jade told their fellow friends about their relationship a week after they got together. They wanted some time to see if it would work out before they let it out in the open.
Though Bobby and Lainie already knew something was going on between them. They decided it was best to just act happy and surprised.
Though Lainie and Bobby didn't quite work out, Lainie and Jade stayed best friends after high school, and same with Dinger and Bobby.
Dinger and Jade have now been dating for 6 years. Celebrating Jade's 23rd birthday and their anniversary, Dinger thinks that this is the best time to do something he has been waiting to do since he was 18.
On the evening of Thursday, September 7, 1995 Dinger proposed to the love of his life. Jade said yes before he even said anything. She knew that Dinger was the one. Dinger made Jade feel like she belonged. He was the first person to ever truly care about her.
Jade worked as a detective because she always loved mysteries. Dinger thought it was a perfect job for her considering she was a mystery herself. Now for Dinger he was figuring out what he wanted to do, and in the meantime he was working at condomania. Such a Dinger kind of job.
October 19, 1995 Jade took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Dinger was beyond excited. He was going to have a mini him with the one he loved.
November 20, 1995 Dinger and Jade got married with just them and three others. Their best buds Lainie and Bobby. Dinger also invited Rachel. They didn't have a big wedding because they only cared about their love. And really they didn't have much people to have come considering Jade had no family that gave a shit about her and Dinger didn't talk to his family.
July 25, 1996 A beautiful baby boy was born. Corey Ian Holfield ( I had to ). He had Jade and Dingers beautiful blue eyes and light brown hair. He was all they could ever wish for.

Dinger's pov
I was trying to get my son Corey to say dad, considering he said mom last week. He goes to open his mouth but then we get cut off by the phone ringing. I run over to reach it before it stops.
Hello, is this Mr. Holfield. I hear a women on say. Wonder what she wants.

I'm sorry to tell you this but your wife, Jade has been shot. She has a small chance of living. My whole world stops when the words leave the lady's mouth. The tears start falling and I hang up. I go to get our 9 month old son and leave the house locking the door behind me . I wipe my eyes so I can see what's in front of me. I unlock my car door and put Corey in his baby seat making sure he's secure. I hop into the front and start the ignition. I speed off towards the hospital.

" Mr. Holfield " a nurse comes up to me. She looks very sad . No no no. I look up at her.
" I am so sorry, but she didn't make it. You can go say your goodbyes. " I feel my heart shatter and I start crying harder. I have never felt so lost and miserable. Why her. Why couldn't of it been me.
Jade, I will love you forever. You are my girl always. I will never love someone the way I love you baby. Corey is so blessed to have you as his mother. You changed my life in the best way possible. I wouldn't have even passed high school if it wasn't for you tutoring me. You are the love of my life, but also my best friend. You are the most amazing person I will ever know. I will never forget you. Thanks for letting me in. Thank you for letting me be your only exception.
a/n well this is it. I made Jade Michael from Jane the virgin lowkey but that's okay. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this book. I know it wasn't the best but I really tried and I enjoyed writing it.
