Roughly a month before the concert, she stands with her friend in line for her audition. She is listening to the song she plans on singing repetitively. It is the most popular song by her favorite band. When it is her turn, she walks into the room alone. Three judges sit before her, and she smiles shyly. The only female judge greets her, telling her to sing her little heart out. She does. When she finishes her ninety seconds, the blonde-haired man's hand goes up, and she stops abruptly. "That was beautiful, baby," the dark-haired guy compliments her, and she grins. She thanks him, taking any advice they have. "What song was that?" he asks her. She tells him the name of the song, and he comments on how catchy it is. They chat for a few more minutes, and the wonam hands her a ticket to move on. She hugs her, walking out of the room. She takes a deep breath before showing her friend the ticket. They scream and jump together, and the show host takes her into another room for a quick interview to show on television.
However, this isn't near as exciting as what happens in, "Thirty-two days," she whispers to herself.
