Chapter 7: Kiss and make up?

It was a very awkward silence in the room from me and Varo, Ever since he walked up in here he been staring at me and shit.

"Dawg what the fuck happened between you an Varo?" Jaleon asked under his breath. I shrugged.

"I don't even know, But he startin to piss me of." I said threw gritted teeth.

"So was good with you and Jackie, I ain't here from her in a while." I asked out loud so we could focus on something else.

"Man, We threw. We wanted more of an open relationship cause We don't want to be held back and things like that." He said texting on his phone. I nodded because we all knew this was coming I mean Neither of them are the "Faithful Type" so it wasn't a surprise to hear it.

"So y'all more of the friends with benefits type?" Lexus asked.

"Yeah but we dating in a way, Like we can fuck other people and shit like that but when we have the benefits of a real relationship..." He explained. Shit that's to complicated for me, I rather just settle down and call it a day.

"So what about you and Nia, Y'all finna get together yet?" D asked. I shrugged.

"Well since she got back we haven't had any time to just sit really sit back and chill. But It feels so good to have her back like you don't even know." I said smiling I leaned back and put my hands behind my head.

"What about you and Shariah?" D asked. Lexus had this big ass smile on his face and chuckled.

"Shit..We chillen, I might wife her like real talk. She cooks, Cleans, Sings for me , Massages me, and Gives me head without me asking." He said smirking.We all laughed and sat back.

"Man look at us...We growing up and shit. It seems like Just yesterday Day we would be stealing them playboy magazine's, And now and latter's from the corner store." Jaleon said shaking his head.

"Or when we went to our first Party, And we cam home drunk and yo momma was up still." Lexus added. We all was laughing so hard that tears was flowing down our faces.

"Yeah I remember When we walked in your Momma whopped All of our asses." I said pointing at Lexus.

"That shit hurt like a motherfucker.I still got bruises on my legs from that dumb ass belt." Varo said pouting.

"You lieing lemme see." Jaleon said getting up. He pulled down his socks and sure enough he still had belt marks from that whopping. We died after that I mean I was laughing so hard that my stomach was killing me.

"Whoo. Man we been threw hell and back...It's gone be so weird seeing all of us graduate this year.And to think We were going to drop out and shit." I said Sitting back on the couch.

"Yeah man, Especially since all the stress we been under." D added.

"When your mother died that was the hardest thin I ever had to go threw cause She was like my second mother to me." Jaleon said looking at Varo.

"Man I miss her so much Like y'all just don't know." Varo said rubbing his hands down his face.Varo's Mom was like an angel. She was there when you needed her and no matter what the problem was she would be right there to help you get threw it.

"I can believe its been almost 5 years since she been gone, It just don't feel real." I said shaking my head. She died of A stroke when we were only 12 years old. When that happened it not only effected us, But the people around us. She knew everybody and everybody knew her. She probably one of the main people that held this city together. She was the god Momma to everyone.
