Chapter 21: Weak In My Knees

*(Nia's P.O.V.)*

I woke up on the couch of Shariah's house with a banging headache. I look around and noticed everybody was passed out either on the floor or on the other couches beside me. I stretched and yawned. Then proceeded to walk into the kitchen without stepping on someone. I kick Jackie in the head on accident but lucky for me her ass aint wake up Last thing I needed was for her to cuss me out in Spanish.

I walked to the bathroom and did my buissness before heading out. I saw Lexus in the kitchen cooking lord knows what. I went behind him and gave him a hug.

"Damn nigga you scared me." Lexus jumped before turning around and hugging me back.

"Sorry dude, " I mumbled. I released from him and sat ontop of the island in the middle of the kitchen while he raided the fridge finding something to cook.

"How you been, You don't hit me up no more." Lexus asked with his head stuck in the fridge. I shrugged as if he could see me and sighed.

"Living I guess.. Im sorry for not contacting you. But I promise to do so in the future." I smiled ginuinley and swung my legs back and forth.

"You better, Or else Ima have to kick yo ass. Im yo bestfriend you gotta pay attention to me."

"Bet. Whatchu finna cook my dawg?" I smiled

"Uhh I don't know to be honest. I might go pick something up from IHOP and get you and the girls something and call it a day..You wanna come with?" Lexus asked twisting his locs.

"Yeah. Let me wash up and change.. I'll be ready in 20." Lexus nodded and I walked out side to go get the suitcase out of my Trunk. I pulled out some grey leggings and my white crop . I grabbed My white, red, and grey jordans along with some underware and called it a day. 

When I walked inside the girls were still sleep and I snuck into the guest bathroom upstairs. I turned the water on. And waited for it to heat up before hopping in. The watter was as hot as the Devils spit. But it felt good against my skin.  I washed my hair bringing it back to its curly state and got out. I threw on my clothes and put on some pink lip gloss, along with Masscara.

with my hair I put some moisturizer in it and let it flow wildly. I walked down stairs to see Lexus leaning against the door with his head stuck in the phone.

"Ready?" I questioned getting his attention he nodded and we headed out to his All red Camero.

The ride was mostly silent with the exception of J cole playing in the backround.

"You good?" He asked turning the radio down a little bit. I nodded looking out the window

"You could say that." I looked at my phone and saw Chris texted me

Chris : Baby you probably gonna ignore me but I love you and I never intended to hurt you. I just want you to know that Im so sorry for putting you in this messed up situation..But I love you and I miss you.

I deleted his message along with his number and slid my phone in my bra. that's a bad habbit of mines

"You sure you okay?" I nodded and slouched in my seat. And decided on not answering the question I'm cool, Probably gone be in my feelings for a lil bit but once I get my shit together all hell bout to let lose. We pulled up to IHOP and there was barely anyone here Thank God.

we walked in with no problem and ordered our food.

"Look what the cat dragged in." Lexus mubled to himself. I looked out the window to see Arielle walk in she had a slight baby bump and looked a little thicker. She smirked at me and walked to the counter ordering her food.
