Cold Hearted Part 2

Chapter 14: S.M.H.

 *(Chris P.O.V.)*

I been sitting in Nia's bed all day feeling like shit. I don't want to go to Arielle's but I feel as If I need to.I tossed and turned trying to be comfortable but Fuck it . I walked downstairs and walked around the house trying to find Nia. I went in the kitchen, Wasn't there. I went in the family room, Wasn't there. Then finally I went into the movie room and found her in there holding a sleeping Aliyah. She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back but it was more of a fake smile than a real one. I sat next to her and kissed her cheek.

"You feeling better?" She asked rubbing my arm.

"Not really, but I'm getting there." I said shrugging. I hate looking in her eyes cause I feel as if I stare at her she knows everything.

"Chris are you okay?" She raising her eyebrows at me. See I told you! Nia is to smart.

"Yeah, I think so." I said trying not to look in her eyes. She got up and put Aliyah on the other side of the couch and took my chin and made me look in her eyes. She squinted and stared at me long and hard making me nervous.

"Baby whats wrong?" She asked nervously.holding my chin tighter making sure I wont look anywhere else but her eyes. 

"Nothing..Damn." I said pushing her hands off of my chin. She rolled her eyes and sighed.

"What ever Chris, When you ready to stop acting stupid, I would like to go back to Lexus house." She barked walking out the room. I picked Liyah up and followed Nia, I hate when she dose this shit. It always make me feel guilty as shit.

"Nia.." I sighed.

"Don't talk to me until you stop bullshitting." She scuffed flicking me off.

"I said there was nothing wrong so why wont you just leave it?" I yelled. She turned around and hit me with a straight face.

"I'm not stupid Chris, I know when your lieing." She said crossing her arms and pouting like a baby. I sighed and placed Liyah down on the couch in the living room since she still sleep. And embraced Nia into my arms and kissed her temple.

"I'm fine.It's just that I'm pretty upset by the fact that me and Varo ain't cool no more." I said partially lieing. She looked me in the eyes and nodded slowly.

"You promise that's it?" She asked raising one eyebrow. I smiled and nodded.She kissed my lips tenderly and walked up the steps to get her extra clothes. I helped her bring them downstairs and place them into the trunk of the car. She turned around and smiled.

"Thank you." She said softly. I nodded and walked back inside the house

"Ce-Ce are you leaving?" Liyah asked rubbing her eyes. I nodded and she frowned.

"Oh..Okay, Well can I stay here with Uncle and Aunt Tt?" She asked with hope filled eyes. I smiled at the fact that Monte got her calling him Uncle and nodded.She jumped up and hugged me.

"Thank you, I promise I'll be a good girl." She said lifting her hands up for me. I bent down to her level and kissed her forehead.

"Promise?" I asked holding my pink out.She wrapped her tiny pink around mines and kissed it.

"Promise." She grinned. I mushed her head then stood up.

"Alright now don't break the promise or else.." I said giving her an Evil smirk. She nodded then ran off into the big house. I stretched then locked up the house and went into the car. I started it up and looked at the dashboard for the time.

"6:57.." I mumbled to myself. I pulled out of the driveway and onto the road. Nia was quiet and looked like she was deep thought. I put my hand on her thigh and she snapped out of it.
