Multi-Fandom love & criticism

BTS

So I am going to start of by saying this:

I love BTS
So as many of you probably know, there are 7 members in the band BTS.
If you want to know the oldest-youngest:
Kim Seokjin (Known as Jin)
Min Yoongi (Known as Suga or Agust D)
Jung Hoseok (Known as Jhope)
Kim Namjoon (Known as RM)
Park Jimin (Known as Jimin)
Kim Taehyung (Known as V)
Jeon Jungkook (Known as Jungkook or golden maknae)

I am sorry if the following is offensive to any ARMYS (BTS fans).

As much as I love BTS, I would say they are quite overrated - not completely in a bad way. It's just that there are other Kpop groups who are also amazing but they aren't being noticed because the first word that people nowadays associate the word, Kpop, with is BTS.

Of course BTS are talented. The group has 4 phenomenal vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook). The group has 3 formidable rappers (Suga, Jhope and RM) however Jungkook is a sub-rapper.

I say BTS are amazing, fantastic and fascinating however some "fans" only focus on particular members.

Some of the members have more fans than others and that's not a problem however, it's unfair because particular members are recognised and praised more!

Jungkook is incredibly talented however, compared to the other members, he is overrated. Since he is known as the "golden maknae", some fans find it okay to only focus on Jungkook.

Until 2018, Jungkook had the most fans. He still has one of the most fans but now, Taehyung (V) has more! I'm proud and pleased for them but I think all the members should be considered equally talented and likeable.

Currently, who has the most fans?

It's arguable that Jhope and Suga have similar number of fans while Jin and RM have similar number of fans.

My bias is actually Suga but I honestly love them all.
Originally, I said my bias wrecker was V but I think they're all my bias-wreckers.

So I had a conversation with a friend of mine and she was telling me that she didn't like the fact that BTS grew famous in America. She's not envious of their fame, she just thinks that their lively performance skills were adapted differently in America. We both agree that they are quite overrated.

I know that some armys will not like what I have to say but this is my opinion. I love all of the members and I appreciate them for their talent. I hope that they remain a successful band for a VERY LONG time.

My preferences in terms of vocals:
But believe me, I LOVE all of their voices. When their roles reversed and the rapper line had to sing, many people said "they're WAY better at rapping than singing" but I was just like "THIS IS ART!!!"

My preferences in terms of rapping:

3.Taehyung (he is cute when he raps Cypher)
5.Jimin/Jin

Jungkook is the golden maknae. He is perfect at almost everything. This "golden" title comes from being able to sing, dance and rap really well which led a few fans to believe that there should be two members who have this title. Jhope is also good at rapping and dancing. He has used entertaining opportunities to showcase his vocal abilities too.

Best at cooking:
1. Jin
2. Suga/Jungkook
3. Jimin
4. RM
5. Jhope
6. Taehyung

In this band, Jin (the eldest hyung) is considered the mother while Suga (the second oldest hyung) is considered the father. This is because Jin feeds all the members whenever he can while Suga is good at fixing things and reassuring.

Hyung Line (olders):

Maknae line (youngest):
1. Jimin
2. Taehyung
3. Jungkook

Many fans ship BTS members together. The three ships with the most shippers are:

1. Taekook (also known as Vkook)
Taehyung + Jungkook

2. Vmin
Taehyung + Jimin

3. Jikook
Jimin + Jungkook

As you can see the maknae line are more popular amongst fans than the hyung line. I love both equally!!! But when the BTS members were asked which duo is the best, they answered "the 95 liner" meaning Jimin and V.

My favourite ships:
1. Sope (also known as Yoonseok)
Suga + Jhope
They are best friend goals even though they have completely different personalities. Suga is considered "lazy" and at first he may seem cold while Jhope is like a ray of sunshine. Jhope is always excited and happy to be around the members, unless he is angry.

2. Vmin
V + Jimin
V once publicly read out a letter he wrote addressed to Jimin. He mentioned that Jimin is always there to cry with him when he's going through difficult situations. Jimin also said that he finds Taehyung helpful.

3. Jinmin
Jin + Jimin
This ship is quite underrated. They are a funny duo! Jimin can't help but be the first one to laugh at Jin's "dad" jokes.

These are just my 3 top favourite ships. Obviously, I ship them all together in a friendly way.
