To say Hogwarts was chaotic was an understatement. There were at least 30 Fifth Year students piled up in the library, trying to get some last minute study. Of course, Iris, Camilla and Dorcas were among those.
"So... Tomorrow we'll have Charms is that right?" Marlene asked as she, Mary and Lily sat with Iris and her friends at a corner of the Library.
"Yeah." Lily responded, without even taking her eyes from the book on her lap.
"Written in the morning and Practical in the afternoon." Dorcas mumbled as she flicked her wand and smiled in pride as her quill levitated in front of her eyes.
"Do you reckon it'll be hard?" Mary asked, clearly scared.
"Well... Flitwick's tests aren't easy, but those ones are different. They're made by Professional Wizards and Witches..." Camilla whispered as she played with Dorcas' floating quill. "It's probably even harder."
"Great..." Marlene threw her head back in annoyance. "I always get an A with Flitwick's. I'm gonna fail my OWLs."
"Don't be so pessimist." Lily said, and Marlene scoffed.
"Easy for you to say... You're a bloody genius."
"I'm just acceptable at Charms." The red haired girl shook her head, ignoring the compliment from her friend. "If you want to ask anything, ask Iris over here."
The girl, who until now was so absorbed in her own notes, lifted her head up at the mention of her name. She pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose and blew a loose strand of hair from her face.
"I'm sorry?" She asked. "Did you call me?"
"Oh, how I wish I had your concentration..." Mary moaned. Marlene ignored her friend and leaned over to Iris.
"Can I ask you something?"

"Would you stop?" Dorcas huffed annoyed, tearing the book from Iris' hands. "You need a break."
"She's right." Camilla nodded as the three girls sat together by the shadow of their usual tree after they've finished their first day of tests. "You've just finished the Charms' practical. You can't push yourself like this."
"But tomorrow is Transfiguration." Iris whined, trying to grab the book from her best friend as she kept it high above her head. "You know I'm shit at Transfiguration."
"Still... Have you eaten anything?" Dorcas asked. "After the test, I mean."
"No." Iris responded, but before either of them could say anything else, she spoke up. "But I've had a good lunch."
"Doesn't matter." The brunette insisted. "I won't allow you to starve yourself just so you can study for a test like this."
Iris glared at her, getting up and snatching her book back from her hands.
"I don't need your approval."
And without another word, she turned around and left, heading back toward the Castle. Camilla and Dorcas watched in silence as she went. The blonde girl frowned.
"What just happened?" She asked.
"Iris' going to get sick if she keeps going like this..." The girl responded with a sigh, leaning her head against Camilla's shoulder. "She pushes herself too hard. She wants nothing but perfection all the time. And when it is about her grades... Merlin help us..."
"Well... But it's just two weeks of tests, then, huh? Then she'll be back to normal." The Latina girl offered, playing with her girlfriend's hair to calm her down.
