Addison Waters

"Want me to turn the ac off?"

"What? No, why? it's fine,"

"Well you're shaking like crazy," he chuckled, keeping his eyes on the road.

"I'm just really nervous.." I bit my lip.

"About meeting my family?"

I nodded in fear, to which he responded with a light laugh.

"I promise you have nothing to worry about, my family is chill and I know they'll love you, I do." He smiled, introducing his hand to my thigh, lightly rubbing it to comfort me.

I smiled, returning my eyes back to the road.

"I'm just glad we're not staying with them, I know how loud you can be."
he smirked.

"Ethan, keep your pants on."

"Sure, at least until we get to the cabin."

I chuckled, "I've never stayed in a cabin before, what if we get murdered in our sleep?! Like those horror movies?!"

"Gee. Thanks for putting that image into my head. But we won't have anything to worry about, I plan on keeping you up all night." He winked.

-

"Addy." Ethan sighed, holding onto the handle of his luggage, waiting outside the car.

"What?" I mumbled.

"C'mon, enough stalling. We're here," he pointed his head up, towards his parents house.

"Are you sure they'll like me?"

He smiled, "Yes, I talk about you all the time. And from what they've heard, they already do."

"I hope you didn't say too much."

He chuckled, "No, I definitely didn't tell them how we met, or why we both got fired." He smirked, shutting my door behind me as I stepped out.

"Yeah, about that, do me a favour and keep your mouth shut on that subject?"

"My pleasure baby girl," he spoke before shutting the trunk.

I rolled my eyes before I felt his hand brush up against mine, I looked down at it and interlocked our hands.

"You ready?" He softly spoke.

I took a deep breath, "Yep."

We walked up to the house, as soon as we reached the front porch, the door whipped open.

There stood a beautiful woman, I'm guessing it was his mom.

"Hello! Welcome you two!" She smiled, motioning her hands, telling us to come inside.

"Hi mrs.Dolan," I smiled.

"Oh call me Lisa! So nice to finally meet you, this one never stops talking about you," she joked.
