Addison Waters
Three days later...

Walking down the narrow hallway, I passed by Grayson's room and the humming sound heightened, now I could hear clearly, he was blasting music.

And this wasn't anything knew, he'd been doing this for a few days now, blasting love songs. All. Day.

I barely saw him, but when I did he was usually the one cooking breakfast, or doing all the laundry.

He seemed to become the maid of the house, I would set my cup of coffee down on the table and he'd immediately bring me a coaster so I wouldn't ruin the table.

Just excessively cleaning, a lot..

He didn't talk to us much, which made me presume that he was using it as a distraction.

He looked very much in his head a lot of the time and not always there.

I didn't get a chance to talk to him about any of it though, I don't think he wants to talk to me.

But it's fine by me, I'm leaving tomorrow night anyways. My boss has been nagging me non stop asking when I'm going to be done partying it up in jersey instead of not showing up to work.

I told him it was a family emergency but I guess trust isn't his thing.

I peered closer to the door, noticing a slight crack in it. From what I could see, Gray was writing in what looked to be a journal? Or a sketchbook of some sort.

He angled it down and I noticed it was a drawing of a girl, it was upside down in my view so I couldn't tell who it was, but it was very impressive.

I'm assuming it's of his girlfriend, I remember he told me about this girl he was seeing back when he came into my work, there's no way they're not still seeing each other. He's blasting love songs and drawing her. He's clearly in love, and it's adorable.

This makes me feel a bit better, knowing he may not still be upset at me since he's moved on already, all I want is for him to be happy. He truly is a good guy and deserves the best.

I set the laundry basket down on the floor and lightly knocked on his door, he didn't hear me the first time due to the ear piercing music, so I knocked again.

I heard a thud before the music being shut off, and a few rustling sounds of some sort, before he whipped the door open.

"Oh-uh- hey you!" He nervously chuckled, fixing his messy hair.

I chuckled,
"Hey, you alright?"

"Yeah, yeah! I'm great, you need something?"

"Uh, no actually, I just saw you were drawing something and I was curious," I admitted.

"Why?"

"I didn't know you could draw! From what I could see you're extremely talented." I exclaimed.

"Oh-uh, thank you," he smiled, a genuine smile beaming off of his face.

"Did you happen to see who it was of
by any chance..?"

"No, but who is it? A celebrity or your girlfriend..?"

"My girlfriend?" He gave me a puzzled look.

"Yeah-"

"I don't have one," he quickly stated.

"Oh I'm sorry, I just assumed since last time I saw you, you said you were seeing a girl?" I questioned.

"About that, yeah..didn't last too long."

"What happened? If you don't mind me asking,"

He shrugged, meaning it was fine before continuing,
"She had a boyfriend the whole time and I only found out when I was really starting to have feelings for her."

I awed,
"I'm so sorry..did she tell you? Or did you have to find out?"

"Well, I went to visit her as a surprise, I planned a little movie night for us and I got her flowers and everything. But, when I got to her apartment he answered the door." He crossed his arms, staring down at the floor and lightly clenching his jaw.

Hearing this made me feel even worse. He got played two times in a row, and I was one of the few to play with his feelings.

"That must've been really tough.." I admitted, sighing in shame.

He nodded,
"Yeah, it was. The drawings not of her by the way, so we can cross that one off," he lightly laughed.

I smiled,
"So tell me! Are you seeing anyone?"

"Am I-uh-yeah?"

"Really?! Who?" I asked excitedly.

"Um-" his eyes darted around his room as he scratched the back of his head, he looked at his walls before blurring out,
"Harley."

I noticed a Harley Davison poster on his wall, I assumed he didn't want to give me too much detail, or was lying..so I just nodded.

"Well...I hope all goes well with you two." I smiled.

"Thanks, I'm gonna go to the bathroom,"

"Oh okay, I was just leaving so.."

He quickly nodded, sprinting out of the room in attempt to leave the awkward conversation. Can't say I blame him at all.

My curiosity was still poking at me harshly, I slowly tip toed my nosey self into his room.

He left his sketchbook open flat on his bed, it was a white one with a strap that held it closed shut. It was flipped upside down, when I turned it over I saw the drawing that I had only seen half of before.

The person looked strangely similar to me, and it all made sense when my eyes skimmed down to the bottom of the page.. reading,
