I sighed,
"Ethan, we're leaving, now."

"Who even are you? I have a girlfriend she wouldn't be happy about this," he giggled, still keeping his eyes half open as he left me no choice but to stand him up myself.

"Well you're right about one thing, she isn't happy about this." I stated, hooking my arm around his.

I was going to give Scott a piece of my mind for being such an influence, but I couldn't spot him in the crowd and I just wanted to bring Ethan back to the apartment.

I walked with him towards the car, seating him in the passengers seat.

"I don't wanna go home," he pouted, grabbing onto my wrist.

I took his hand off, setting it back down on his lap.

"We're going home, we would've stayed longer if you weren't so immature." I stated, buckling him in and shutting the door.

I got in on my side, fixing my jacket before turning the heat on.

He stared at me, confused while I did all of this.
"What?" I asked.

"My girlfriend is still in there,"

I sighed, seeing as he was clearly very high. He couldn't even tell that I was sitting right there in the car with him.

"No, I'm right here, Ethan."

He scoffed, leaning back in his seat.
"Yeah right,"

I rolled my eyes, as I finally drove out of that neighbourhood. I wasn't too sure about the way back home, but I just remember Ethan hadn't turned for a while, so I figured I'd keep going straight until I needed some directions.

"You know, I'm gonna tell my girlfriend allll about this." He stated, nodding, very sure of himself.

I lightly chuckled in disbelief,
"You're gonna tell your girlfriend?" I asked,
"Mhmm."

"Here," I handed him his phone, to which he quickly grabbed it.

He looked puzzled as he made it to the contact list,
"I don't know which one it is,"

I clicked on my contact for him, and he put it on speaker while he looked at me, glaring as if he was right. I have to admit, it did lighten the mood a bit.

"She's not picking up," he groaned.

"Leave a message, maybe she couldn't hear it over the loud music," I said simply.

He nodded,
"Heya addyyy," he smiled wide.

"Just wanted to tell you some girl is taking me home, but don't worry, she's not getting in my pants tonight."

I chuckled,
"Anyway, call me when you get this or something, I'm not even sure if I'm actually leaving this message for you right now, I'm seeing two phones so I'm pretty confused."

"But I just wanted to say that I love youu, and I want to marry you," he giggled.

I smiled to myself, peering over at him every once in a while as he continued,
"But don't tell addy that," he whispered, shushing the phone. Seeming to forget he was leaving a message for her.

"I'm gonna put a ring on that pretty finger, a shiny shiny shiny one, I don't know when," he sang, before shrugging at the end.

He gasped,
"It's New Years!"

"You have to be home in time for our New Years kiss, addy! I can't go another year kissing a girl named candy cane. It's not as sweet as it sounds."

"Your message has been sent" the phone sounded.

"Agghh man, I wasn't done." He whined, stuffing the phone in the cup holder.
