"Fuck me, I'm exhausted.  Chloe, your house isn't that far."  I say yawning.  Smoking 4 bowls of weed makes you tired as hell."  I almost fall asleep when Chloe parks.

"Come on ladies, let's sneak in and hide out in my room."  I get out as Max gets out after me and I almost fall to the ground.  Max holds me up and laughs.  We make our way, slowly up to Chloes room and I pass out almost instantly.  I wake up a few minutes later seeing Max get ready for bed and Chloe is sitting on the end of the bed with her head in her hands.

"Chloe, we will find Rachel, I promise you.  I swear we will."  I scoot up next to her and she lays her head on my shoulder.  "Chloe, I love you and will go with you anywhere, I'll do anything for you.  I promise you.  We will get to the bottom of this."  I look at my phone and it's December 20th.....  just three days after my birthday and two day after my mom's funeral.  I've been surprisingly calm through all of this.  It's 4 days until Christmas eve and I don't have a family.  But goddammit I'm going to help Chloe if it's the last thing I do.

"Jimmy, do you think she's alive?  Honestly do you think that."  Chloe asks, I can hear the sorrow in her voice, on the verge of a breakdown.

"I can't say, she may have just run off and not told you, in any case I hope that's what happened... I can't imagine anyone our age dying."  Chloe starts crying into my shirt and I lay back.  She falls with me and cries until she falls asleep.  Max was already asleep on the floor and looked happy dreaming little Max dreams.  Once I'm sure Chloe is asleep, I creep downstairs and run to Blackwell.  My fatass can move fast when I need to.  I run through some wooded areas and eventually come out at the parking lot of Blackwell.  I sneak across the lot and grounds and make it to my dorm.  I sigh with relief I didn't get caught when I open my mini fridge and take out my whiskey bottle.  I take a drink, put it into my pack and run back to Chloes.  The whole process took maybe 30 minutes at most.  I get back and lock the door and creep up to Chloes room.  Max is sitting up on her phone and looks at me as I enter.

"Holy shit, I thought you were on the bed with Chloe.  When did you leave?!" She whisper yells at me.

"No more than 30 minutes ago?" I take my backpack off and take a swig of my whiskey.

"Jimmy!" Max gets up and snatches my bottle away.  "You cannot drink every minute of everyday."  I snatch the bottle back and drink some more.

"I'm an adult Max, I can drink my troubles away if I want." She let's me take one last good drink before she takes my bottle and looks at me.

"Do you want me to wake Chloe up?  If you do not stop drinking I will wake her up and you'll be in more trouble."  I sigh.

"Fine, you win Maxine."  She glares at me, and I swear I can feel the fires of hell in that glare.

"Max, never Maxine."  She puts my bottle in her purse thing and goes back to bed.  I sit there thinking about taking the bottle back, but think better of it.

I sit back on Chloes bed and pass out, fully clothed and everything.   I wake up before Max and Chloe and take this as a prime opportunity.

"WELCOME TO THEEEEE HOTEL CALI-FORNIA!!!!!"  I shout waking up Chloe and Max.  Both of them staring at me angrily.  "Come on, up and at 'em! It's morning, I'm gonna go help Joyce make breakfast, before I'm slaughtered."

"Good idea!" Chloe says as she slumps back onto the bed.  Max gets up with me.  I close Chloes door before I could hear what they were saying.  I of course, always have a spare change of clothes here.  I've changed from my Chlorine soaked Clothes to my Rob Zombie shirt, Linkin Park Tripp shorts, and my vans.
