Senri's P.O.V.~
"Waaah!" I stretched out my hands and yawned a bit. "That was a good match.."
"You seem awfully tired even though you only played one quarter.." Hyuuga-Senpai noted outloud. "You were asleep for the first three quarters as well."
I shrugged. "What can I say? I'm a growing gi-boy."
"Growing?" Kagami scoffed. "You're like five foot five, which is even shorter than Kuroko."
I puffed my cheeks in annoyance. "I'm not short- it's just that you're too tall!"
"Actually," Tetsu said. "You're not that short, Senri-Kun."
I smiled at Tetsu then glared at Kagami. "See, Tetsu is nice unlike some other people here."
Kagami shivered a bit and looked away from me.
"That's enough." Izuki-Senpai said. "And I'm starving."
"I am too." Kagami added on and Riko sighed. "I don't think we have enough club funds to pay for a meal unless we find a free one."
Suddenly, as if by magic, a sign appeared in front of us at a restaurant that said 'if you can finish this steak under a hour, it will be free'. Judging by the caption, it seems like it was a pretty sketchy deal.
"Is that just awfully convenient or is it just me.?" I coughed and everyone nodded along.
"Whatever~!" Riko exclaimed. "Let's go eat some!"
Time Skip~
"Is it really as big as I think it is..?" I asked, my mouth watering from the smell of the huge, delicious steak.
"Doesn't this seem like a bit much..?" Izuki-Senpai said, sweat dropping.
Riko gave us a incredibly happy smile with a dark aura behind her. "You guys said you were hungry~ So finish it all up!"I looked at the sign at the window and saw that if we didn't finish the steak, we would have to pay ten million yen per steak. I began to cut my steak and poked a piece with my fork.
I nudged it at Tetsu's direction. "Open up~"
Tetsu opens his mouth obediently and I put the piece of beef into his mouth. As much as I was hungry, I knew that I wouldn't be able to finish, and neither would Tetsu so we decided to share instead.
It was going great until everyone began to collapse in defeat. Tetsu and I were almost done the steak we got (not that I'm bragging or anything) and Kagami had finished his portion a long time ago.
"How did you finish the steak?" Koganei-Senpai weakly groaned, patting his stomach. "I couldn't even finish half of it.."
"I can finish it for you if you want," Kagami said, shrugging. "I'm not even full yet."
"Are you human even?" I asked, even though I knew that he could eat a lot.
Kagami scoffs at my comment. "Of course, I am. I'm still a-"
He wags his eyebrows at me. "Growing boy unlike some others here."
I humphed and angrily gave him a slap in the face. "Don't bully others."
Kagami shrugged, not seeming to feel the pain even though his right cheek seemed to be turning darker by the second.
Koganei-Senpai gladly hands over his portion to Kagami, followed by our Senpais and fellow first years, except for Tetsu and I.
Miraculously, Kagami was able to finish all the portions and Tetsu didn't seem to want to die after eating the steak with me.
