Gramps… I stared at him packing his things. My heart was aching with pain; it has only been a day since I received the dreaded news.

“Oh, hello sweetheart.” He smiled at the bag not me and continued to store his things in a rush.

“Where are you going?” My voice was almost a whisper. Was he leaving me, I’m sure I haven’t done anything to upset him.

“I’m sorry but I have to rush to New York.” Tears started running down my cheeks. Again he wasn’t paying attentions, so he didn’t notice. He wasn’t going to even stay for the funeral? The funeral of his own daughter and son in law? I figured it was something really important for him to leave so suddenly. My feet carried me to him and I hugged his back. I nevertheless, loved my grandfather; I had just lost two people I never thought I was going to lose, so I clung on to him silently crying. He turned around brushed away my tears and kissed my forehead.

“Don’t worry I have a bigger plan in life for you my dear.” He grabbed his bag and rushed out the door.

“Carey!” I snapped out of the daze I was in. I had dreamt this last night, no, this wasn’t a dream, this was a memory, and last night I felt like I have relived it all over again.

“Yeah yeah I’m listening.” Liam and I have been standing outside for an hour now. We had woken up super early because Emily had called at 3 in the morning saying she couldn’t come pick me up because she was feeling sick. I had tried to say that I’m sorry and that I hope she’d be okay but she had hung up on me without hesitation. I felt strange and hurt somehow but dismissed it. Which brought us back to this. We were trying to open Liam’s car.

“Like I said the window is kind of open so maybe we can… I don’t know, use that to our advantage?” I stared at Liam dumbfounded, the crack was big enough only for my finger to fit through, I don’t know what he’s thinking. He has been pulling at every door handle multiple times with no success. I walked to the driver’s door and tried to open it just like Liam, one pull, two pulls, three pulls, and it clicked open. I froze in place and looked at Liam with wide eyes. His expression was mirroring mine and slowly a smile spread across his face.

“You opened it!” He pulled me into a hug and we jumped around a few times screaming in joy and shaking each other laughing. The excitement had finally died down a bit as we pulled away blushing as we remembered this morning.

I had woken up this morning on the floor of my living room in Liam’s arms. His long eyelashes were centimeters away from mine and our temples were pressed together. I tired to move away but when I did he pressed me against his muscled body making me feel every inch of it, and burring his face into my neck, my body’s reaction was embarrassing because I let out a loud moan and then when I finally realized what I just did, and how embarrassing I sounded, I pushed him away pulling a pillow to hide my face with.

“What?” His morning voice was a little groggy but so sexy I blushed even more. His shirt has slid up reviling his six-pack to me. My eyes didn’t stop there though, they continued trailing down his body. The shorts he was wearing were hanging dangerously low. My eyes widened when my eyes finally fell on it… it was standing, why was it standing! I screamed and got up running to the kitchen.

I had explained to him soon after, when he followed me into the kitchen asking about my bazaar behavior, how Emily wasn’t coming and he had said that the only way to get to school was to open his car, which we did now and made sure we took out the keys. I went to my room and into the bathroom. The cloth I had prepared the other day were hanging on the heater. As I looked at them I realized how hard my heart was beating and how hipster the outfit is. A black crop top, with dark grey high waist jeggings, and my favorite light grey jacket; it had black sleeves, black hoodie, and the back had three word in a black square; create, destroy, rebuild. To top it all off was my snapback hat that said GLAMRKLLS. Yup, I’ll look ghetto as hell. The door knocked and my heart started racing again, fuck!
