Unbreakable bond

I woke up to my alarm beeping. It's monday morning and I was feeling dizzy from yesterday. Jungkook. Was all I could think of.

I rolled out of the bed and packed some lunch before running out of the apartment trying to catch the last bus. Darn it, too late again. To be honest I was a little scared to walk alone again so I called Jungkook. "Hey, are you busy?" I asked. "No, why?" He said. I could hear noise in the background. What in the world am I thinking? He is a superstar! Of course he dosen't have time to walk with me to work. He has to practice. 

"Oh, nevermind." I said. Before he could say anything else I hung up. I can't just talk to them like they're my friends or something. They are busy and dosen't have time for me. Besides, why should they?

I held the phone close to my chest, took courage and began walking. The feelings from two days ago started creeping in so I started running.

When I got to work I looked at my phone and it was beeping like crazy. "Who is this mystery girl?" My eyes widened, are they talking about me? I clicked on the screen and saw hundreds, no, thousands of posts about me and J-Hope from yesterday. It was probably the fangirls who leaked the picture. Oh god. When I got inside all the co-workers surrounded me and started questioning me. "What were you doing with J-Hope yesterday?" "Are you a couple?" "Omg you are so lucky!"

All these questions made me feel really uncomfortable so I ran outside. Some of them even followed me. Great, just fantastic. I continued running until I reached my apartment. I locked myself in and sat down on the couch, exhausted. I texted J-Hope.

M: "Have you seen the news?!"
JH: " Yes of course, I should've told you earlier I'm sorry."
M: "Now I can't even go to work, what am I supposed to do?"
JH: "You can always come over to us?"
M: "I don't want to disturb you guys, I'll stay home today. It's fine."
JH: "You sure?"
M: "Yes I am, no worries :)"
JH: "I've planned something special for tomorrow, you down for that?"
M: "Sure thing!"
JH: "Great! I'll text you the details tomorrow, see ya!"

I wondered what it could be. And even so I felt like I was cheating on Jungkook, even tho he wasn't my boyfriend. Wait. Exactly! He isn't! And that means I am free and allowed to do whatever I want with who ever I want. He didn't get to decide. I bet Cho has read the news. Why isn't she calling me? At first I felt worried something might had happened so i called her. "Cho?" I said quietly into the phone. No answer. She's probably pissed because I didn't tell her. I know what to do! I'll go visit her!

I grabbed my jacket and went outside. I caught the bus and went to her house. There was light in the house so I think she's home. A sting of unsureness struck my heart. Should I really do this? I had to know if she was mad at me, I went up to the door and knocked on it. No answer. I knocked again. Still nothing. "Cho are you there?" I shouted. A click was heard from inside the house and the door slowly opened. I went inside, Cho was standing there in her PJ. "What's happening?" She asked tired.

"Have you seen the news yet?" I asked. "No, I just woke up? Is there something wrong?" She sat down and picked up her phone. Her eyes went wide, she was in a complete shock state. She was just sitting there, staring at her phone. "Cho... are you alright?" 

She shook her head and jumped up. "When were you going to tell me you are dating J-Hope?!" She said happily. "So you aren't mad?" I asked unsure. "Of course not?! I'm so happy for you! And a little bit jealous to be honest. Okay if J-Hope is yours I dibs Jungkook! He's so cute and handsome!" She almost screamed. My heart stopped. "J-Jungkook?" I stuttered, trying to place my words correctly. "Yes? It's not that you're with him or anything right?" She asked exciedly. "No."

I went home. It was so boring doing nothing. I had absolutely no clue what I was going to do. Jungkook is probably furious because of this and I'm pretty sure they're gonna have a fight again. I sighed and tried not to think about it. The window was open and fresh air circulated in the room. It was a cold summer day. The flowers started to lose colors and the trees were turning orange and yellow. Autumn was just days away. I decided to go to sleep earlier because I had nothing else to do.

It took about 30 minutes to fall asleep because of the noise all the cars made, but I finally drifted off. 

The next day I woke up like 5 am and made some breakfast. My phone beeped so I picked it up.

JH: "You're probably asleep now but when you wake up, meet me in the park. The same bench, our usual spot, for a suprise. 8 am."
M: "Who's asleep? Not me xD"
JH: "Oh, what are you doing this early may I ask?"
M: "I got to bed earlier yesterday because I had nothing to do, and I'll be there."
JH: "Great! Can't wait to see you there, bye"

What was he going to do?
I was really curious but didn't think too much about it.
All I needed was to enjoy this beautiful morning.

When the clock struck 8 I grabbed my coat and went to the park. Hobi was standing at our bench. Dressed casually with a simple, red rose. "This is for you" He said and gave it to me. It smelled spring. The petals were deep red and it was absolutely gorgeous. I smiled.  "Thank you"

"Did you and Kookie fight?" I asked while we were walking through the park. "No, I said I'd back off after this." He said. I leaned against his shoulder. Why does love always have to be so complicated. "It's alright, he saw you first" he said silently. I stopped. "This isn't fair, I am the one who's supposed to choose! You guys can't choose for me!"

He smiled a sad smile and shook his head. "BTS is the most important thing to me, I can't let someone ruin our relationship." My heart stopped. I completely understood, BTS was his life after all. They were like glued together. But his words still hurt me. He looked at me when he realized what he said. "I'm sorry"

"No it's alright, I completely understand."

Time flew by as we talked and laughed together. It felt like the park was our little spot. A safe haven from all the troubles we had to face in the future. "Even if we can't be together in the end, just know that you are very special to me. And don't be mad at Jungkook, he's still new to this and he isn't the best to express his feelings." He said and smiled to me. He wanted me to be happy. Even if that meant me being happy with someone else. I can't believe what has happened in the last couple of days. It feels like I've known them forever.

"Are you hungry?" He asked. I nodded. "I know a place where we can eat!" He said and took my hand and ran like a little kid. He is such a cutie.

We entered the resturant and ordered some food. I was starving. "So tell me a little bit about yourself" He said and paid full attention to me. I blushed. "What is there to know? I am 21 years old, I like the color pink. I love animals and I have a passion for music" He seemed interested and smiled. The food came and we started eating. We talked and laughed together. I had a really good time. It didn't feel like a date then and there, It felt more like I was chilling with my best friend. 

When we finished it had started raining. "I can follow you home." He said. "No worries! I don't want you to get more soaked when you get back." I said and smiled. We were standing in the middle of the street. It was night and through the clouds you could see the moon shining. I gazed up on J-Hope. His eyes reflected the moon. 

He started leaning in and I knew what would happen. I closed my eyes. Ready. He was so close I could feel is warm breath against my bare skin. He quickly gave me a kiss on the cheek and blushed. I smiled. "I'm holding my promises." He said quietly and started walking towards BigHit. I just stood there, soaked in the rain. Raindrops falling down on me and running down my cheeks. I couldn't tell if it was my tears or if it was the rain. I really wished he had kissed me. But at the same time I'm glad he stopped.
