"Sometimes we have to say goodbye to our beloved ones.
Even tho it hurts.
Even tho it's hard.
We have to let go.
But we'll keep them in our hearts.
And always remember and cherish our moments together."-
I made the breakfast and was so deep in my own thoughts I couldn't hear Jungkook sneak up behind me and hug me. "What are you making? Do you need some help?" He asked as he slid his hands around my waist and smiled. "It's fine" I whispered. "Are you okay?" He spun me around and looked me in the eyes. I could tell that he was worried about me. "I-I just, think it's time we had a proper funeral for Cho" I said with a low voice. He smiled a sad smile. "I'm so sorry-"
The others were up and down everywhere. "Stop taking that Jimin!" Yelled Tae and slammed a pillow at Jimin's face. "No you stop taking all the marshmellow damnit!" Said Jimin and threw it back at Tae. "Both of you! Stop acting so childish" Complained Namjoon who was trying to enjoy his breakfast in peace. He took the cup to his lips when the handle broke and the cup fell into his lap. "HAHAHHA God of destruction!" Laughed Jin.
At first he looked annoyed but smiled and laughed with Jin. "Ooof I'm so clumsy" He murmured while cleaning up. "Have anyone heard any news about Cistel?" Asked Yoongi who was scrolling casually through his phone. "No? Why? Hasn't she been caught yet?" Asked Tae confused. "No, after she killed Cho. She vanished" Said Yoongi and took a sip from his coffe cup.
"We have a photoshoot later we need to get ready for tho-" Said Jin. "Oh shoot- I forgot!" Said Jimin and took a facepalm. "I don't think we can stay here tonight. So you'll have to celebrate christmas without us" Said Jimin and looked devestated. "It's fine, I know you guys are busy!" I said trying to comfort him and assure him that it was okay. He gave me a hug.
Christmas was over in a blur and all I could focus on was giving Cho a proper funeral. I planned it for weeks and weeks. Nonstop.
"Aren't you going to rest?" Said Jungkook and gave me a blanket. I had fallen asleep again on my desk, exhausted. "I'm almost finished." I whispered and kissed him. He smiled at me. "I'm so proud of you" He said and walked over to the bed. He pat beside him to signalise that I should come lay down beside him. I did as I was told and jumped into bed with him. "I can't believe she's really gone." I whispered with tears in my eyes. Jungkook hugged me tight and kissed away my tears. "Even tho I didn't know her, she sounded like an amazing person and I'm glad she was there for you when I wasn't" He whispered.
I fell asleep almost instantly. Christmas was over and new year was coming. I needed to let go of the pain. And start to remember all the good times I had with Cho. I needed to turn these bad feelings into something good.
It was three days until new year.
"What do you wanna do?" Said Jungkook while he tugged at my sleeve while we were walking down the sidewalk. "Hmmm. I don't know? Maybe go on a picnic and then watch a movie? Does that sound good to you?" I asked. He nodded and smiled the brightest smile ever. Sometimes I wonder what would happen If i never met him. We've been through so many obstacles together and I am just so grateful for having him by my side when I needed it the most. But sometimes my mind wanders off to Hoseok.
I've been together with Jungkook for a couple of months now and I can't imagine my life without him. But still.
Bangtan Sonyeondan. The boys who changed my life.
I walked over to Jungkook. "Maybe we should ask the others to join us? I mean, If they're not too busy." I asked. "Sure thing! I bet they'd love to!" He said and called them. "Yes- uh hu. Yes. Oki! Great! See ya!" He said and hung up. "They are on their way!"
We met at the park and ate some sandwiches I made a couple of hours ago. "Cho's funeral is tomorrow, and I'd appreciate if atleast some of you attended to it" I said. They all looked at me. "Is that even a question? Of course we'll come!" Said Jin. "I don't kno-" Yoongi was cut of by Jin who hit him in the head with a spatula he carried in his bag. "Where DO you even get these spatulas from?!" Shouted Yoongi. "You don't have a choice! You are coming and thats final!" Said Jin and continued eating his sandwich. "Fineeee" Complained Yoongi.
Namjoon looked at them and laughed. We all had a good time and later we went to the cinema and watched a movie.
"That movie was sooo goood!" Said Tae and jumped in happiness. "I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow!" I said and gave them a hug. "Yes! We'll see ya!" Said Jungkook and went with the others. I walked home by myself in the night.
Sometimes it felt like someone was watching me, following me. I quickly turned around. "Who's there?" I asked. No answer. Maybe I was just getting paranoi-
Then something hard hit my head and I fell to the ground. "Wha-" I whispered. Before I blacked out. I couldn't remember how many hours I was out cold for. But it must've been a six hours or so. I was laying on the street. "What the hell happened?" I asked myself while I stood up. My head was aching. I called Jungkook. "Jungkook could you please come pick me up?" I asked. Everything was spinning and I couldn't see properly. "Are you okay?" He asked through the phone. "I-I don't know" I stuttered.
I fell to the ground again. I must have hit my head pretty hard in something. "Where are you?" He asked worried. "Outside of the cinema we were at last night." I whispered. "Didn't you go home?" He asked confused. "I was going to- but then I blacked out and now my head is aching" I complained. "Ok I'll be there soon. Just stay safe until I get there okay?" He said and hung up.
A little while later Jungkook came and picked me up. "How are you feeling now?" He asked. "I'm better now, I'm still gonna attend to the funeral" I said determined. "If you say so, but don't push yourself too hard okay? I'm worried about you!" He said and patted me on the head. "When is the funeral again?" He asked. "In about three hours or so, you can just drive me to curch" I said and looked at the road.
My head wasn't aching anymore so that was a good sign. But I still was a little confused. I could feel someone hitting me, but I don't know who, or what? I'm worried Cistel is gonna do something. Because I know she's not the type who likes to wait.
Jungkook drove me to the curch and then drove back to the hotel to get changed. He asked me if I wanted to tag along but I said no.
I looked at the coffin in the middle of the curch. Tears streamed down my face when I thought about all the memories we shared. I put my hand on the coffin. Feeling the cold wood against my skin. "I will live for both of us. Thank you for being such an amazing friend" I whispered.
The cermony was about to begin as I saw the others dressed in black suits. I ran down to them. "You guys actually came!" I said and gave them hugs. "Of course!" Said Jin and patted me on the head. I smiled a sad smile.
The cermony was beautiful and sad. Jungkook offered to say a couple of words but broke down.
I hugged him and said thank you.
We put flowers on her grave and said a couple of words and then the cermony was over.
May you rest in peace ♡
