Chapter 8

The next day I went to the park and Jensen was actually waiting for me. I stretched quickly and then he said. “Ready?” This guy was all business. I loved that about him. He seemed as focused as I could be. We jogged in comfortable silence and when I felt I couldn’t go anymore I signaled to him that I was done. He stopped and I couldn’t help but feel bad. I clearly was not up to par in the jogging department like I knew he was.

I wiped the sweat off my face as we walked towards a shaded tree. I cleared my throat, “Jensen, you really do not need to stop your work-out on my account.” “Cali, don’t worry please, its fine.” I work- out plenty,” he said with a bright smile. He took his tank top off and used it to wipe his face and body down from the sweat that was pouring. His body was sexy too. Not naturally sexy like Caleb’s, but you could tell he probably had a membership to a gym and did weights.

I learned more about him today. He told me about his family and his older sister that was just about done with college. He was going to major in Sports Management and he loved dogs. All I could think about was how bad I wanted to kiss him. I guess I shouldn’t be thinking that way considering Ivan, Caleb and my brother for that matter were one of his boys. He just looked so hot lying on his side with no shirt on and he had this beautiful smile that just made me melt. I wonder what he thought of me. At the same time I couldn’t help but feel guilty. It’s not like I had anything official or remotely going on with Ivan or Caleb, but the last thing I needed was another one of my brother’s friends in the mix or any associated drama.

 I brushed those thoughts aside and looked at Jensen. Hey Jensen, we are having a party tonight at our house. “I know,” he said. Oh, did Skylar tell you. “Yes,” he said. I bet he and Caleb are saying it’s their party. It’s actually mine and Baileys I said with a devious smile. “I can’t wait to go,” he said with that smile again.  Great, see you later I said as I stood up. I had to leave, I couldn’t trust myself to not ambush him and kiss him. Lol! I waved as I left.

Neither Caleb nor Skylar were home when I got there. Typical of course, they were nowhere to be found for party set-up. I called Bailey and told her to come to my house and help me set-up and get ready. Spend the night too, I told her. I am on my way she said. Bailey and I spent the remainder of the day setting up. We ordered pizza because it was quick, and then I poured us our signature rum and cokes. Lets toast I said. We lifted our glasses:  “To a great party full of juiciness.” Bailey giggled, “Oh I am sure there will be tons of juiciness coming from you tonight.” Ha, Ha Bailey, now come on lets go get ready.

Bailey took her shower first and then I went next. There was a knock at my door. Who is it I said? “It’s me Skylar,” I opened the door slightly. “Sorry Cali, just wanted to let you know house looks great.” OK thanks Skylar. Make sure you play some good tunes tonight I said with a big smile. Just then Caleb was passing in the hallway, and of course he saw me in my towel. He flashed me his signature smirk and I closed the door quickly.

I felt like Sizzla tonight and cranked it up. Bailey and I continued to get ready. She turned down the music and said, “This one.” I looked up from applying my mascara and saw that she had picked out a simple black cotton slinky dress. I would definitely have to wear a thong with this. I already knew since I had tried it on yesterday. It hugged my every curb and now that my stomach was flat this dress made me feel like I had the body of a bathing suit model. 

“Now this is hot,” Bailey spoke, breaking my concentration on the dress. Thank you stylist I smiled. I slipped it on and adjusted my strapless bra. My boobs looked tight and firm in this dress with that new bra that I had just purchased and I slipped on the matching black thong. Bailey did my hair; I swear she should do this for a living. It looked full and cascaded right below my shoulders. My smoky make up was the finishing touch. Well actually the red lip stick was. Thanks Bailey you are the best. I threw her kisses. I actually put on some fancy black flip flops that had some heel to it. They looked dainty and showed off my still intact pedicure.
