Chapter 14

The next morning, I rolled out of bed and I put on the black nike sport bra outfit my mom had given me as a gift. I was feeling that all my hard work was starting to pay off. I looked at myself in the mirror and I really was starting to tone and even see a lot of definition in my stomach. It was by no means a 6 pack yet, but I looked better and felt better too.

 I  was half way to the park when my brother and Caleb pulled up in my brothers truck with their surfboards in the back. “Wow Cali, for a second there I was about to whistle at you not knowing it was you,” he said with a yucky look on his face.  Gross Skylar!

“Good work though sis! Your hard work is paying off.” Thanks bro! I was really lucky to have such a cool brother I thought. I gave him a thumbs up. Looking at Caleb I smiled big remembering last night. Hi Caleb, I said enthusiastically. He had a frown on his face that stretched from here to Texas.

“Is that what you are wearing to see Jensen,” he asked shaking his head? My expression quickly changed.  Are you for real? What’s it to you? Why don’t you go fuck yourself ok!

“Oh no worries, I already did last night, thinking of  YOU.”  “Whoa! Hellloooo”, my brother said passive aggressively. “Whatever,” I yelled, as I kept walking, knowing damn well that he probably did jack off in his room after what happened last night. It made me blush thinking about it.

“Cali,” Skylar yelled as he caught up to me in his truck. “FYI, just wanted to let you know that we are leaving right now to go surfing for a couple of days again. See you later.” Caleb didn’t even bother to say goodbye or look at me. I was bothered by his anger with me, especially after our little dirty secret that we shared from last night. He was clearly pissed at me because I was going to be with Jensen.

Jensen was stretching when I approached him. He looked me up and down and I couldn’t help but call him out. Are you checking me out? “It’s hard not too, he said, with a flirtatious smile.  How am I going to be able to run in a straight line he asked?” I will just bitch slap you if you don’t, and we both laughed. He approached me and kissed me on the cheek. “Your hot! Now lets hurry and get this run in before I melt in front of you.” Silly boy! I just rolled my eyes and kicked him in the butt.

After our run I plopped down on the ground. We ran like 5 miles today and it was more than I had wanted too, but it felt good to push myself. Jensen inched his way closer to me and flicked sweat dripping off my stomach. “Your stomach is feeling nice and tight Cali.” I kind of blushed, because he had no idea how big of a compliment that was to me. All those crunches were paying off. Thank you I smiled.

 I felt like a two-timer at that moment as I thought about last night. God, that’s all I could think about today. It was that good. Caleb, was that good. My thoughts were interrupted when Jensen pulled my face closer to his and planted his lips on mine. He was trying to get me to open my mouth with his tongue and I hesitated for  a moment thinking about Caleb. I ended up reciprocating and met his tongue with mine. His kisses were soft and nice but it was hard not to compare him to Caleb.

Caleb’s kisses were lustful. It was like he had a hunger or thirst for me that translated in an aggressive sexual passionate manner that I had never experienced before. I felt myself getting hot just thinking about it, but whoops I was kissing Jensen. I stopped kissing him and looked away.

“What’s a matter said Jensen? Why did you stop kissing me he asked?” I couldn’t tell him that I was getting hot and bothered thinking about Caleb as he kissed me. I didn’t even know what to say. I am sorry I muttered, I am just lost in thought.

“What are you thinking about Cali?” I lied; oh I just have a lot on my mind because I have a lot to do. What kind of dumb lie was that I thought to myself? I just couldn’t think of anything good. “Oh ok, are you sure?” he asked, doubting me. I couldn’t blame him. It was a lame excuse for pulling away from a perfectly decent kiss. Yep I am sure I said smiling.  

When I got home there was a gift on my bed that had polka dot wrapping on it with a card.  I dug into the wrapping on the gift and pulled out 2 Reggae Cd's. Beres Hammond and Gregory Isaacs. A smile crept up on my face. He knew. He knew that I loved Reggae. I opened the card and began to read.

Cali, I recently learned that you have a love for Reggae music because I always hear it blaring from your room. I want to learn so much more about you. Let me prove myself to you. Go out on a date with me? Your sexy secret, Caleb

My heart was racing. I loved it so much. He paid attention and most importantly he was fighting for me. It was more than I could say for Ivan who flirted and played along with me but made no effort.

My smile quickly vanished when I thought about how mad he was at me. He obviously put that gift on my bed before he realized I was going to meet Jensen.

I felt dirty all of a sudden. Like I was two-timing. How did I get myself in this situation? Here we go again....where was Bailey? I needed Bailey!
