Chapter 12 - Ray wakes

~~~ Hands heads to the pack house

Hands was still having problems with what he had been forced to do to the female. There were more than a few times he had awoken from a nightmare about it. Several of the girls had woken him as well to comfort him. Nuzzle was having her own problems but had made it her duty in life to try and make him smile at least once a day. The evening before when he had been laying on the floor relaxing, the little stinker and the other little girls snuck up and attacked him.

That had gotten all of them growled at since they focused on his neck and ears as targets of opportunity. By the time they were done he was looking very mussed up and his hair was standing up in funny directions. He had felt better when they were done though. Star had even joined in for some tickling. She was still fairly shy around him but it didn't really bother him. Now River was a tougher nut to crack and he had been working hard to get to know her.

One thing he had decided was he wasn't going to the Temple Mother until he had used up all options. He was going to get her to relax and come out of her shell and join the group if possible. Since that first night he had taken to bringing Nuzzle to her bed and curling up next to her. Never around her and with Nuzzle between the two of them and Hands thought he was making some headway.

This morning when he had awoken Nuzzle had curled up under the covers with River and River had wrapped her arms around Nuzzle. Hands was still sleeping on top of the covers but had acquired a light cover to use. Savory was giving him approving smiles as he was working on getting to know River.

The other day he had been sitting on the couch with Savory in his arms and swapping some kisses. Hands was doing his best to let her know that he wasn't abandoning her, simply was trying to make the little girl comfortable in her new section. Savory had lightly nuzzled his face and told him she understood and approved.

Hands was also making a point of following Skye's advice on spending time with the other girls as well. Thankfully he had been given a break from the elementary lessons and had some extra time to spend with the girls in his new section. Kythryn somehow kept a mental list of who had cuddled with him previously. Again, somehow, she would nudge a different girl towards him to talk and cuddle. Hands was beginning to wonder how Ray had handled having seventeen women competing for his attention.

In any case he had rolled out of bed and after a good stretch and a shower contemplated who was coming home with him. Nuzzle didn't count as a visitor anymore so he didn't feel bad adding another girl to the mix. Since Savory was going to visit her family for the weekend he decided to invite Salty, the two new girls, and one of the older girl's home.

Since he had Savory on his lap he didn't bother trying to go and ask everyone. He simply called for them to come into the lounge so he could talk to them. While he waited for everyone to come in he gave Savory one more good kiss and both blushed slightly.

Once all the girls were in the room he smiled at all of them, "Since class is over, for the weekend I am going to invite several of you over to the house as has become a habit. Savory is going to visit her parents this weekend since we are planning on going to visit them next weekend. She wants to make sure her room is neat and tidy. Probably make it more girly as well just to tease me." He grinned at her and she gave him an innocent look.

"Anyways I am going to invite Salty, Star, River, and one of the older girl's home. As far as the older girls Kythryn has already been there and since I am still getting to know you I will let you decide who gets to come home with me." He flashed them a grin as they started muttering at each other. Kythryn gave him a glower just for good measure.
