As soon as he went out I turned to Liam, "Romantic...very" he said annoyingly. He was getting in to my nerves.
"Yeah he is....you got a problem with it?"
"Yeah...No... Listen Curly you've got no right to be mad at me okay?" I wonder how the hell he's talking about my rights and what not.
"Oh yeah....you read my diary...my own diary.... And then again you're butting in to my personal life.... And you are saying that I have no right to be mad at you"
"Geez... why are you really with that assho-"
"Mind your tongue Liam...I'm warning you." My lips drew back in a snarl.
"Can't believe it." he shook his head in disbelief.
"I didn't ask you to. And yeah...I don't remember asking you to worry about me either."
"No one was asked to worry about the people they care about. They just do." His voice was low for the first time.
"You are crossing the line Liam. Don't you understand! This is my life for god's sake and you don't get to decide what's best for me okay?"
"Nobody drew a line here Curly and sure as hell I don't care about a stupid line" he held me from the shoulders "Right now I'm worrying about you getting hurt....again"
"Liam...listen..." I blew a heavy sigh. "You don't know me. And you don't know him either. For the first time after a long time I'm enjoying waking up...because I know he'll be there when I open my eyes. I'm glad I'm alive after a long time. Call him whatever you want, but that's what he is to me, like the breath that keeps me alive. He has always been and always will be" I was tired of crying, but the tears were stubbornly flowing. "You were right; I never have stopped loving him." I said as Liam dropped his hand from my shoulders.
He turned around without saying anything "Why were you here really?" I asked as I was curious.
"I heard news about some attacks here in Dawning Creek. So I wanted to check on you." His gaze was full of concern.
I cleared my voice before I begin, "Someone broke in here couple of days ago...remember you asked me why I was acting weird?"
"How did you-" He threw his arms in the air. Taking several steps towards me, he hissed "Why on earth didn't you tell me before?"
"Jay got here. He saved my life, Liam. He was with me for the entire night...he called 911...police searched the whole area. Nothing found suspicious."
"...and you're telling me this now." his eyes were still wide in horror.
"I knew you would worry about me..." His eyebrows creased like something suddenly came to his mind. "What?" I demanded.
"You sure that this is not another trick of your...Romeo to get back to you?" his question took me by surprise.
"Don't be such a jerk Liam."
"I'll try...so where are you going?" he changed the topic which made me even more uncomfortable. I couldn't say that I'm gonna rest myself at Jay's.
"Jay doesn't like me being alone here-"
"No one does" he muttered to himself.
"-So I decide to move in with him."
"So that's where you are going?" I nodded. "Why are you ditching classes? Are you gonna be in his house arrest?"
It made me laugh "It's just a few classes. In fact I got 80% attendance already. So I'm taking a few weeks off."
"Fine...guess that's all then" he said taking a step back to the door.
