ACE
I fidgeted with my hands as we walked into the pack hospital. It had been three weeks since my check up and they finally got the results from my medication.
"You don't have to worry, even if it's bad news. We can figure it out." Kade said as he nodded to the receptionist as we walked past her.
He led me back to an office that belonged to Aeson. We had barely been sitting for five minutes when Aeson walked in.
"Alright, Luna. Are you ready for the results?" He asked as he sat down on the other side of his desk. Kade and I both nodded and Aeson opened up my folder. "So, the medication you were taking, it seems that it is some type of suppressant. Based on the components in it we assume that they are a mix of heat suppressants and ability suppressants."
"Ability? Like powers?" I asked.
"From what we gathered; it is a very strong ability suppressant. One that could hold an alpha from his first shift. We think that your parents were trying to prevent you from shifting and going into heat."
"I-i'm a werewolf?"
"Not quite, we tested some of your DNA and while it is similar to ours, it's not the same. I've been doing some research and can only say that you are something very old and very powerful. Something we thought went extinct long ago."
"Do you have an explanation for his scar?" Kade asked taking my hand in his.
"I don't, but I could do an ultrasound and see if anything is missing." We nodded and he told us to meet him in the first exam room.
When we got there, I smiled up at Kade. "So, if I'm something so powerful does that mean I can top?"
"Hell no, I'm sorry baby but I'm alpha in and out of this relationship. No one tops an alpha." He said showing off his teeth; it sent a wave of arousal through me.

"This is going to be cold," Aeson warned as he squirted the gel onto my bare stomach, just above my scar. He started to move a wand thing around my stomach. He moved the wand lower, under my belly button, and gasped.
"What's wrong?" Kade asked quickly.
"I- um. I'm not sure what to say. This shouldn't be possible."
"Stop beating around the bush and just say it!" Kade demanded. I put a hand on Kade's shoulder to calm him down.
"I think you're a winged wolf. I didn't even think to look into it because they've been gone for hundreds of years."
"What's a winged wolf?" I asked.
"It's a wolf shifter, like werewolves, but their wolves had wings. Two different kinds, bird wings and bat wings. It is said that what gave these creatures their wings were a touch from the moon goddess herself." Aeson stared at the screen in amazement.
"What makes you say he is a winged wolf?" Kade asked holding my hand. The question seemed to break Aeson of his trance.
"Ace, you have a uterus. Winged wolves are only of the only species known for males also having uteruses." I was shocked, to say the least. "I do have to warn you before you both get too excited. You are missing your left ovary. Most likely from an early catch of ovarian cancer, the leading cause of the winged wolf's extinction. Or thought extinction, I guess."
"We can't have kids?" I asked, broken. I won't be able to provide children for Kade... or the pack I thought in misery.
"Not at all, Ace!" Aeson said quickly. "You have one healthy ovary; it will be difficult but you two can still have children. You two will just need to try until you fall pregnant." He said it like it was a simple task which made my blood boil.
"How can you sound so happy about this? I might never be able to birth a child for my mate. Do you have any idea how useless I feel? What if I never get pregnant? What happens to the pack? Aiden can't run the pack. Wh-"
"Aeson can you give us a moment?" Kade asked cutting me off. As he left, Kade walked away from the exam table and sat down in one of the chairs against the wall. "Love, come here." I got off the table and walked over to him and sat on his lap. "You know that I'll still love you, even if you can't give me a child. You being able to birth pups for me is just a plus. You are still my mate, still my Luna, and still my everything. Even if we can't have a baby-baby, we have Aiden."
I nodded and gave him a small smile.
