I smiled as I looked down at Aiden, he has fast asleep and had his little blue bunny in a tight grip, holding it to his chest. He was still so little even though he was growing up so fast. I nodded as a thought came to my mind. I left the room to find Kade quickly.
I walked into the bedroom to see him still asleep. "Kade!" I called while I jumped onto the bed. He sat up quickly, but he looked half asleep. "Kade, we should go to an amusement park today with Aiden. Make a day out of it. We only have so much time until he is grown up."
Kade rubbed his eye and looked at me before he nodded. He didn't say anything as he laid back down.
I smiled as I left the room. There was so much to get ready!

Backpack, sunscreen, water, snacks, extra pair of clothes, and swimwear. I listed off in my head as I put the items in the backpack.
"Daddy? Can I bring my game?" Aiden asked while walking up to me, he was holding his tablet.
"You can bring it, but it has to go away when we get there alright? It's only for in the car today." He grinned at my answer and happily put it into the bag. "Can you go get Papa, so we get to leave?"
Aiden grinned and ran out of the room. A few moments later, he came back dragging a confused Kade behind him.
"What's the bag for love?" He asked as he came closer to me.
"The amusement park. Don't you remember? I said this morning that we should go to the park to spend time with Aiden."
"Yea, I was asleep for that, but I'll go get ready."

"WE'RE HERE!" Aiden screams from the backseat as we pull into the amusement park parking lot. I wince at the loudness but smile at the excitement.
"Alright monkey, make sure to put your game in the seat so no one can see it," I said as Kade pulled the car to a stop.
We got out of the car and walked to the front entrance of the park. Aiden was holding both mine and Kade's hands. I looked at Kade and nodded, we then pulled on Aiden's arms causing his feet to fly into the air. He squealed in delight and demanded we do it again.
I laughed but pulled him along until we made it to the kiddie section of the park.
There were all kinds of rides that were just the right size for Aiden. But he whined and complained that he wanted to go on the big people rides instead.
Kade managed to convince him that the log ride was a big person ride. He even 'snuck' Aiden onto the ride. Aiden's hands flew in the air as the log crashed into the water.
Kade and I laughed but Aiden began to whine. I looked down at him to see he was pulling at his wet clothes.
"I didn't know I was gonna get wet." He whined as tears started to fill his eyes. I quickly picked him up and told Kade to get our bag from the box to the side.
I took Aiden away from the ride, so we weren't in the way and tried to calm him down. "It's alright monkey. I have dry clothes for you in the bag. We've only been here for a few hours so let's keep having fun yea. How about some food?"
He rubbed his eyes and nodded. I could tell that he was beginning to get tired, but I didn't want a meltdown.
After we all got dressed in clean, dry clothes, we made our way to the lunch hall.
"Alright monkey, they have pizza, subs, and finger foods. Where do you want to eat?" I asked as I looked at Aiden, who was in my arms. He pointed to the finger food place, so I walked us there. "Chicken nuggets, fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, hamburgers, and hot dogs. What do you want bud?"
"Chicken tenders, fries, and mozzarella sticks."
I told the cashier Aiden's order, mine, and then Kade said his. After he paid, we found a place to sit.
"You having a good time monkey?" I asked, he nodded quickly and smiled up at me.
"So much!" He giggled as Kade slightly tickled his stomach.
After a few minutes, Kade got up to get our food. I didn't realize how hungry I was until he brought it back. A tray in each hand, both filled with food, man I was starving. Kade made sure that we all had what we ordered then we began to dig in.
I playfully took a mozzarella stick from Aiden's plate, even though I had my own, causing him to laugh loudly. "Daddy that's mine!" he giggled.
Someone behind me scoffed, "Could you be quiet? Some of us are trying to enjoy family time."
I turned in my chair to look the man in the eye. "I'm sorry sir. My son was being just as loud as your daughter, so I didn't think anything of it. We are enjoying family time too so how about you just stay in your lane."
"Family time? What kind of family are you? That boy should have a mother."
Kade started to get up angrily, but I held my hand up to stop him. I calmly stood up and looked at the man. He was sitting with a teenager and a young-looking girl, around Aiden's age.
"Sir. My family is beautiful, if you are too blind to see that then that is your problem. You can hate on me and my husband as much as your tiny brain likes. But if you talk about my son again, I will put you in your place. Now if you'll excuse me, I don't want to ruin this day for either of our children, so I am going to go back to minding my own business. I suggest you do the same."
I sat back down as Aiden and Kade lightly clapped at me. "Way to go, babe," Kade said.
"Good job Daddy!" Aiden cheered.
After we were done eating, Aiden was so tired we could barely walk. I carried him as Kade carried the backpack and the leftover food. Aiden ordered so much that he couldn't finish, and we weren't about to waste it.
"Let's go home." I smiled up at Kade as he wrapped an arm around me.
