"Molly?"
"Molly!"
"She waking up!"
I opened my eyes, blinking as a bright light was shone in my eye.
I groaned, placing my hand on my head.
Pulling it away in shock, I saw my arm bandaged up.
Both my arms were.
I tried to speak.
"W-where am I?" I croaked out. My voice was hoarse.
"You're in the hospital, sweetie. Do you remember why?" A nurse at my side smiled down at me kindly.
I wracked my brain, trying to remember.
Then, all at once, it came flooding back.
Jack.
"I wanted to die." I said softly, a tear rolling down my cheek.
I became aware of someone else standing next to me.
Sam.
"W-why are you here?" I asked him.
His eyes looked sad as he told me, "You sent me a text. You told me you were sorry. I texted back asking what you meant, then Jack sent me a text saying that he had to move again. I ran straight to your house and found you in the bathroom."
"You should've just let me die." I said, looking away.
"No. You deserve to live. I wasn't going to let you die."
"Why? Why do you act so concerned for me? Why do you keep helping me?"
"Because I love you!" Sam blurted out.
