This for now will be in 3rd person~

A young boy sat at the center of the forest in the middle of a clearing. He was sobbing quietly at the loss of his brother and mother. Though they had died at different times he would always visit their grave and remember the things he would do together but it always led back to their causes of their death. His mother's illness and the hurricane that drowned his brother. They both swore to protect Alex until the very end and well, they did.

Alex wiped his tears as his ears perked up underneath his little hat. He looked around, knowing someone was approaching. He thought it would be fine until a dart whizzed by, barely hitting him. He got up and ran swiftly through the forest, his hair flowing behind him and revealing his two different eyes, one violet blue and the other a deep red. He always had to keep the 'unnatural' eye hidden due to him being discovered if he didn't.

The boy made it to the docks and leaped onto one ship. He landed on the edge but pulled himself on as he scrambled below the ship for a place to hide. His plan was to hide here until morning so that he could escape but little did he know the ship was en route to a land Alex had never been to before.

Alex sighed in content and brushed his hair over his eye. He noticed the deep red color lightly glow and shine over the crate he was in. That made him frown. He hadn't eaten anything much for a while. He didn't get the chance to eat a lot after people caught news of the hybrid in their small town. Alex was always chased and at one point Alex had had enough of it.

His stomach growled in hunger and the poor boy fell to the ground, gripping his stomach in pain. This had never happened before, he wasn't used to it. His red eye glowed vibrantly and his other eye the same. Actually it had happened once when Alex was being bullied and practically starved himself until he couldn't handle it but his mother was there to stop him. This time, he had no one. His ears perked up again and Alex pulled himself off the ground, whimpering in pain but kept running. Eventually he reached the lake with no where to run. He turned around to see his hunters grinning and chains in hand.

"We finally caught you hybrid. A disgrace really but hey, we all don't get what we want." This caused Alex to whimper and back away until he couldn't. The pain was overwhelming and was not only in his stomach but in his head too. A voice very similar to his was whispering to Alex sweet nothings and asking for control in his head.

Alex fell to the ground, holding his head as his hunters came closer. Alex could either listen to the voice or be killed. He went with the first option and gave into the temptation. As this unknown entity came into play, a small creepy grin spread across his face and he got up. For the first time in what seemed like forever, 'Alex' revealed his claws and looked up at the hunter. The mouse had now become the wolf. (Heheheh get it cuz he's a wolf hybrid...ill go)

By the time 'Alex' was done, he walked away from the lake, grinning as he licked the blood off his claws, streaks of blood leading into the lake.

Alex didn't want that to happen again. The thought of it made him shudder but he knew if he kept testing his limits, it was going to happen. That voice had in his head always scared him but that the same time Alex knew it was always there, he had named it Mary. (Another reference to something if you get it skfneken) He hated that side of himself. It grew stronger the longer Alex went without food. It was the bloodlust, the crazy side of him. The infamous side of his type of hybrid.

Alex began to doze off when he tried something, he changed his normal hands to claws which was the only thing he could do easily. Just as he had feared, they were sharper than ever.

Ready to kill.

Okay so about the eye thing, it's a way to identify hybrids from the regular humans. Hybrids have two different eye colors while humans have one eye color. Yeah yeah I know there are actual people with two eye colors but in this story, nah. Most hybrids hid that aspect by getting same colored contacts but young kiddos like Alex who might be along don't have that opportunity so that's why most hybrids don't live long because humans figured that aspect out.
