Finally, Explain

Oh wow an update almost a week later, but hey I'm actually updating my book and my othet one so that's good I guess. I've given up on trying to maintain a 2-3 range of publishing chapters so they'll just come out whenever I feel like it lmao

After a lot of screwing around and being stupid, Peggy finally got her shit together and crowded the group in a circle.

Thomas tried to sit next to Alex, but was unsuccessful as Alex shot him a side glare and got up, moving next to his adoptive brother and mother.

James shot him a sympathetic look that practically said "give him time".

"Okay so! Let's start off from the beginning. You six," Peggy pointed to Alex, Thomas, Maria, Herc, James, and Aaron. "Were caught under the spell of the whistle. It was originally gonna be just Alex, James, and Aaron but stupid Monroe got ahead and changed plans," Peggy explained.

"Yeah yeah yeah but what did we do?" Alex asked.

"Well you killed a good 30 people, maybe more, including Monroe and his two extras."

The six in the circle collectively paled at the number, feeling a bit anxious then and there.

"However, I can confirm that you guys were sneaky enough to not have anyone record you or something like that. You also met that little kiddo right there," Peggy pointed to Elizabeth, who was playing with a butterfly and glowing happily.

There was a sigh of relief.

"Along the way, these two got hungry and ran off to try and hunt," Peggy pointed to John and Laf, who looked away sheepishly.

"And I believe it was Maria and Herc who got them and basically put them under mind control," They nodded.

"So for the time being, we were panicking because we didn't know where the hell you two disappeared to."

"Whoops, sorry Pegs," John mumbled and Peggy giggled, leaning on his shoulder.

"It's fine. We learned a bit about fairies too but we'll get to that later."

Theo then spoke up. "So we formed a plan to try and find you guys, only to find you were in a fight with Monroe and his last extra. It was quite pitiful but in the end, you guys "won"."

"That's when Alex and I got stabbed/shot," Thomas muttered.

"Yes, and that brings us to the most interesting part of it all. What the hell happened between little Lizzy and John?" Theo wondered aloud.

There was a collective ring of "No's" and "I dont know's" and Peggy nudged Theo.

"You too Theo." Peggy was then promptly hit with a wing, letting out an "oof".

"Well clearly it was magic, stronger than any type I've seen because not only did it heal Alex and Thomas in seconds, it also stripped John of his ears and tail," Maria explained.

"By the way, as an experiment, does anyone wanna sacrifice their ears and tail because I kinda want mine back," John spoke shyly and Aaron was instantly in front of him.

"Please do, the cravings are bad enough as a vampire, the added werewolf part is just unbearable," Aaron blurted out, earning a laugh from everyone.

John raised an eyebrow and nodded, placing a hand on Aaron's head and closing his eyes, mumbling words he never thought that he would know.

Then his eyes split open with a flash of light gold that blinded the group for a moment.

When it had faded away and everyone could see, John then had wolf ears upon his head with his tail and Aaron had his gone.

"Oh thank god," Aaron quickly hugged John before going back to sitting on James' lap.

"And there's our proof that there's something strange going on here. Alex, go sit in front of Theo." Herc commanded and Alex made no hesitation to obey, plopping himself infront of the winged girl.

"Theo, try and remove his vampire parts if you know what I mean. We don't need people trying to find him for being the only 3 part hybrid," Maria instructed and Theo nodded.

She placed her hand on his chest, and similar to John, the light blinded them for a moment and when it cleared, Alex was left without fangs and balancing in Theo's hands was a ball of the vampire essence.

"Holy fuck..." Laf mumbled.

"What the hell am I supposed to do with this?!" Theo practically screeched and was met with yells from Thomas and Alex to not curse in front of the child.

"Wait...where did Elizabeth go..?" Alex questioned carefully as he looked around.

A small, curious hand tried to reach for the orb from behind Theo and she jumped, trying to shoot it forward so that the hand (later identified as indeed Elizabeth) wouldn't touch it.

Unfortunately, when Theo shot it forward, she blindly aimed it at Eliza.

And she was hit.

Oh shit a new hybrid? Yes indeed.

Now all I have left to make a hybrid is Angelica-
