Finally the others arrived and Alex pulled John to the rest of the group before sitting down in Thomas' lap happily.
Thomas held Alex close and snuck glares at John when he could until Alex noticed and smacked him for it.
"But Lexiiiii," Thomas whined.
"No, he's my best friend Thomas. You can't get jealous with every person I talk to or am close to," Alex said sternly.
"But what if he tries to take you from me?"
"He won't, and if by a rare case he does then you're just going to have to respect it Thomas. I don't want my friends to feel threatened by you just because your my boyfriend."
"But-"
"No. That's enough Thomas, drop it," Alex huffed and crawled out of Thomas' lap over to Peggy and John.
(PSA to those in relationships and such: don't feel jealous if your S/O hangs out with someone else. That brings down their trust in you or vice versa. Be happy for their friendships and if they leave you, respect their decision and don't hate on their new lover. This again is vice versa. If you leave them, tell them why and try to make things as smooth as possible with them)
Thomas pouted and watched as Alex talked happily between the two. He knew very well that Alex was very close with John and Peggy and were practically inseparable. This only made him more jealous but he shoved it all down and looked towards everyone else.
James looked up to see Thomas sulking alone and whispered something to Aaron before going over to Thomas.
"Hey, what's wrong?" James asked quietly.
"I think I just had a fight with Alex..." Thomas mumbled.
"Really? About what?"
Thomas motioned lazily to the trio talking.
"Ohhh, you're jealous huh?"
Thomas nodded sheepishly.
"I'm gonna guess that you were whining about the possibility of him leaving you and him snapping at you about it?"
"How do you know me so well?" Thomas mumbled.
"I've known you since we were toddlers Thomas, but he's probably not wrong."
"But I'm still scared James, what if he does?"
"Well then he does I guess. You can't control everything that happens between you. If he has close friends then that's his thing, not everything has to be centered around you and your relationship. That makes you seem selfish," James explained.
Thomas stayed silent and looked at the ground.
"Thomas I'm going to tell you this once so you better listen. Alex has his friends, you have yours. I can assure you that won't do anything to affect your relationship. If it does, then you have to respect it. Not everything will go your way and you'll realize that one day or another. For now, let it blow over and maybe take him out on a date as an apology." James got up and pat Thomas' shoulder before walking back to Aaron.
Thomas sighed and looked back at Alex, who was currently shrieking with laughter as John and Peggy tickled the hell out of him.
"Just push it away Thomas, push it away..."
Oh shit relationship problems? Yes please dadd- *gets smacked*
Anywho short chapter but I'm not sure if it gonna be foreshadowing or not. If it is it means more angst and if it isn't it means more angst. See my problem? There's gonna angst but from who is what is deciding it atm.
