Woop this chapter is mainly going to be okay.

"Guys, gals, and non binary pals" POV

Alex smiled gratefully at Theo and Thomas. Theo smiled and walked off to an office room.

"Thanks Thomas," Alex whispered and rubbed at the bandages on his arms. He had to force himself not to scratch at them again for the 3rd time in the past hour.

Thomas nodded and held Alex close. Alex looked off into the distance, his mind wandering off to his thoughts.

Theodosia sighed and took off her lab coat, stretching her wings and sitting down in her chair.

She had noticed Thomas licking the blood away from Alex's wounds. It was quite unsanitary, which is why she stepped in in the first place. She couldn't really blame Thomas though.

At one point, however, she noticed Alex flinch but didn't point out anything about it. She sighed and rested her head in her hands when she received a message.

"Hey Theo, can you meet me behind the hospital?" Peggy.

Theo smiled and responded a quick 'yes' before flying out of the office and hospital (with some difficulty, but it was worth it).

She landed next to the youngest Schuyler, who hugged Theo tightly.

"Ouch, Peggy, be careful," Theo gasped and smiled lightly when Peggy loosened her grip.

Peggy's silly attitude changed to one that was more serious.

"Theo I think we might have a problem," Peggy stated and handed Theo a note.

Theo raised an eyebrow and opened the note, reading it. Her eyes widened and she mumbled a quiet 'no...not again'.

"If you're reading this, you might have a chance but it's more likely that you don't. Soon you'll all be calling me your Ringleader.

A figure stood at the edge of the clearing in the forest, a slight pinkish glow coming from his eyes. He was the most well hidden hybrid out of his group, well, him and his other friend.

They were an unlikely pair, but being practically the same when it came to species was hard to ignore.

"C'mon you can do it!" He called out as his friend went through the makeshift training course that sat in the center of the clearing.

He had created it himself.

Well not exactly.

He and his friend were a unique case. Technically, they were hybrids, but not the type that was commonly seen.

He was a wizard, in a sense, but he hated the title and so did his friend. "Witch and Wizard" don't really sound all that realistic so the pair decided to call themself Magic users instead. Anything really was better than wizard/witch.

"I'm trying okay!" The friend yelled back, constantly mumbling words under her breath to conjure up a spell that would benefit her.

Why isn't she using a wand like most witches or wizards do, you might ask.

First, they don't like being held to stereotypes. Second, wands are inconvenience and can end up ruining your spells. However, using your bare hands isn't any better.

You see, magic isn't supposed to be in their world, just like how hybrids aren't supposed to be but here they are. This means that the human skin hasn't adapted to spells, so whenever one is cast, it burns the castors hands intensely.
