Everything seemed very similar yet different from the March you had towards the Ice tribe and through the forest you still never asked the name of. You know, the super eerie forest you kinda never want to go back to. With the dead trees and purple fog mist stuff and the ground was swampy. You'll shudder if you think about it too much, so why don't we change the subject from the forest to everyone walking around you? Your friends.

Arthur and Felicia have been hitting it off well, even though you were certain both Corrin and Felicia were smitten with one another. They were just talking and walking. Something about being clumsy or unlucky? Something like that. Then there's Corrin and Silas. Corrin fell asleep so Silas had him sit in front of him on his horse. Corrin was leaning back against Silas and snoring softly. You couldn't help but admit they were really cute like that. It made you smile just looking at the pair. Moving on, Niles and Elise oddly enough started having a lot of fun talking with One another. Effie often forcefully interjected herself into the conversation to keep Niles from saying something dirty or morbid, but that just kept the two of them humored and entertained. Sorry Effie, but it seems your efforts are invalid.

That's leaves one character other than yourself who hasn't yet to be accounted for. Odin Dark. You looked next to you, walking at your side. Odin was reading an old accent tome with many different spells and importantly information held inside of it. He was reading while he was walking, often mumbling stuff under his breath. His blue eyes scanned the pages, hungry for more information. More info = stronger magic. The boon for the magic stat is called being clever. What? I can break the fourth wall multiple times in a chapter!

"Hey Odin."

Odin flinched and shook his head. Did you shake him up that much? You didn't think you were too loud. He snaps his head up and those striking blue eyes meet your own once again.  He closed his book and smile at you. Your heart did a flip and you smiled back, grabbing a strand of your hair and playing with it out of nervous habit. Wow, you sure are cliché.

"Hey. Uh, whatcha reading?"

You know full well exactly what he's reading. You've looked a tad the cover and peeks over his shoulder at the pages multiple times. But you being the flustered little ball of awkwardness you are, you needed a conversation starter. It may be terrible, but you still needed one. That didn't mean you didn't want to facepalm yourself seventy three times over because of it. You still wanted to do that for being so stupid. But whatever.

"Oh? This is a magical tome without all the knowledge of the darker arts! Magic unyielding and with each page my skills hone and the blood within me boils! It's so awesome!"

Wow, dat voicecrack tho. Odin does a little fanboy squee and hands the book to you. Well, less of handing the book to you and more of shoving the book Into your arms. You look at the page and are only able to read the first two sentences before Odin starts talking again. And like a schoolgirl girl with a crush, you focus all attention on him and nothing else in the world will ever matter because your crush is the best thing in the universe. Common crush knowledge.

"See, thst spell is similar to noseferstu HOWEVER it is an ice magic so it would be more relative to a tome you'd know as Fimbulvtr. It's a hybrid spell of dark magic and ice magic! Isn't that awesome!?"

You just nodded and agreed. Nod and agree for a while until he gets bored of talking. But you'd never get bored of Odin talking, not for your whole March. You were just so infatuated with everything he had to say with that unique descriptive language of his. You were so interested, so engaged, so in love... You were blind to his faults.

If he has any at all.
