A New Comer And A Bad Vibe

I laughed at the sight of Mikey try and teach Aileen some karate moves. It wasn't working too well. Aileen had fallen at least 6 times. Frank was sitting next to me laughing too. We were outside of the diner, sitting on the ground with our backs leaning on the walls.

Ray, Grace and Evelyn were in the diner while Gerard and Mayra were in the guys' car hearing music from the radio and talking.

I leaned my head on Frank's shoulder and looked up at him. He smiled down at me. He had left a mark. It wasn't huge. But it was sort of big. I saw it in the small mirror that was in the room of the bunks. I screamed and Frank went running inside. I showed him and he smiled.

"Babe, it's not that noticeable." he had told me and kissed my cheek.

"Not that noticeable?! It's bigger that my thumb!" I whispered at him.

When we had gone back to where the rest of of them were we had told them I screamed cuz of a spider. They believed me. I covered the mark with my hair. I just hoped they wouldn't notice.

I saw Mikey and Aileen walk over to us and I took my head off Frank's shoulder.

Frank and I got up and dusted our pants. Aileen and Mikey reached us and smiled.

"What'd you think?" Aileen asked.

"Honestly?" I asked. She nodded. I rubbed the back of my neck to think about a nice answer.

"Uhm...you didn't fall 7 times." I said. Frank and Mikey started laughing and I grinned lightly at her.

"Well at least-wait. What's that?" she asked. She pointed at my neck. Where the mark was. Shit. I covered it with my hand.

"Uhm...nothing." I looked at Frank with panic in my eyes. He shrugged lightly.

"What do you mean nothing?" she asked.

"It's probably just a bight," Frank started and I looked over at him with a look that said 'what the fuck are you doing?!' "from the spider she saw this morning." Frank finished.

"True." Mikey said.

"I guess..." Aileen said not truly believing him.

"Haha. Yea. Uhm, we'll be inside." I said and grabbed Frank's hand. I dragged him inside past where Ray, Evelyn and Grace were laughing in a booth.

I took him into the back of the kitchen and looked at him. I hit his arm.

"Ow." he said rubbing where I hit him. "What was that for?"

"I told you it was noticeable!" I whispered at him.

He moved closer to me and moved his face close to mine. "Babe, Aileen believed it." he said. "And I told you. If they see, they see."

"Bu-" he silenced me when he kissed me. I melted into the kiss and forgot about my worries. I kissed him back and felt him smile into the kiss. He knew he would silence me with the kiss. Damn him. But he was a great kisser.

"Fun! Midnight! Come fast!" I heard Ray call. Frank pulled back and smiled at me. I smiled at him back and pecked his lips once more before heading to the front of the kitchen.

Ray was standing there with his bandana over the bottom part of his face. He had his back turned to me so that meant he didn't see what Frank and I were doing.

"What's wrong?" I asked Ray. He turned to me.

"Put your bandana on and get Frank out here." he said.

I nodded. He left and Frank came behind me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and put his chin on my shoulder.

"What happened?" he asked me and kissed my cheek.
