Alliance and Decisions Chapter 17

Encre's P.O.V

I don't think Fallacy has forgiven me for running, but I was glad that he stayed close to me. Red was near some brush while talking to a few of his wolves lowly. I didn't think that Red would actually want to help us.

"Next, we need to talk to the counsel." Fallacy said, "If the counsel agreed with us then we could gather men to fight Asgore so you can take the thrown back."

My eyes looked down at our hands that were entwined, "I know exactly the first thing I'm going to do when I gain my throne back."

"And what's that." Curiosity lingered in his voice.

I smiled, "It's a surprise." I knew it was best not to think about it especially since Fallacy could read my mind.

Red stalked back over and never lost confidence no matter how many steps he took. He shook off an aurora with power which was possibly due to his role in the pack, "We've agreed to help you but in return we would like to go into your land without any trouble when the time comes."

I looked up at red, "If you go onto my lands then I don't want you to harm anyone."

Red nodded, "That's reasonable." I thought he'd grown more mature since he was talking business until I heard him mumble, "You little rat."

I couldn't help my growing smile, "Then you have my permission."

Fallacy's hand tightened around my own. I'm still trying to understand why everyone was so frightened of these myths. The wolf and Vampire. I wonder if there is any more creatures I don't yet know about. I guess if their were more then I've gotten lucky that I haven't yet run into them....yet,

"Asgore is more corrupted than we thought." Fallacy looked towards red who nodded.

"He threw the treason card at the rat.....that cowardly mole." Red said with a taste of disgust.

Fallacy swept past Red and turned to walk back to the direction of the castle, "When my counsel comes to agree you will have permission to take your pack into my castle to discuss attack."

Red smiled, "Yay violence! My favorite." He stuck his tongue out like he bit it before turning to walk to his wolves, "By the way, I see how you two act towards each other. Don't do anything regretful." Was the advice he gave up as he disappeared into the woods.

I let what Red said roll around in my mind a few times as Fallacy guided me through the woods and back to the castle. I knew that talking to Asgore wasn't even an option to consider because I'd be killed at the raise of his hand.

Treason.

I thought again and again. How am I betraying the fake king? The murder who has taken my families throne? He's the one who committed treason and unlike him, I have actual proof. But that won't be enough to satisfy him or the people. Asgore will have to be permanently removed from the throne.

"But you won't go up against Asgore alone, Encre." Fallacy began, "The pack has decided to be on our side to fight as will my men if the counsel agrees to it."

My gaze diverted from Fallacy to the forest's ground, "And if they don't agree?"

I looked back to Fallacy but he didn't say anything, so I dropped the subject. Once we arrived to his castle Suave was at the main doors waiting for us.

Suave opened the doors, "Welcome back my lord and my lady."

Fallacy gave Suave a slight nod before entering with me to which he lead me up stairs and towards his room. I was confused. Why would Fallacy take me to his room? I knew it was about time for me to go to sleep but still. He gestured me to sit on the bed and I did just that as Fallacy stood in front of me. 

"Encre I have something I need to tell you." Fallacy's eyes traveled over me like I was his possession.

I shivered, "What is it Fallacy?"

He paused for a few moments, "Do you know what the blood moon is?"

I thought and slowly nodded, "I don't know much but I heard it was the feeding time for Vampires."

Fallacy moved swiftly and soon he sat besides me with his hands over mine, "Yes, and at that time all the Vampires would feed and be unable to control themselves."

My eyes widened when realization hit me, "What will happen to me?"

His hands squeezed mine in reassurance, "I talked to the Alpha quickly before we found you. During the blood moon you are going to stay in the wolf pack for the night."

"With Red!?" I said out loud, "Why there!?"

Fallacy took a deep breath in, "It will be safer there but on their side of the territory you must know that there are other creatures who you thought were myths."

I smiled, "Sure there are." I said sarcastically.

Fallacy growled and before I knew it he was pinning me to the bed, "There are creatures that could harm you!"

I began to blush, "W-what kind of creatures." I stuttered.

"Trolls, and they're not friendly."
