Mystery Man's POV
"Aurora, my love. The time has come. I just got a call from Mark and he told me that he kissed Meera." I said.
Aurora was clapping her hands in glee as she said "Great! Now we can show the proof to Valerio and get rid of this menace forever!" I looked at her in irritation and said "Have you forgotten the plan Aurora? You help me destroy the Webbs and I help you get back with Valerio." She sheepishly mumbled a sorry and agreed to what I said.
"Well, here is the plan anyway. Mark asked me to meet him at the bar. I'll tell him that I am busy in the very last moment. You will go instead of me and get him to talk. While you are at it, I'll stay connected with you throughout. You will ask whatever I instruct you to ask. And you will record every single second of the conversation." I said.
When she asked me what it was that I was planning, I explained it to her. When I shared my plan, she widened her eyes and said "What did the family do to you exactly?" I simply shrugged and got back to giving her the Bluetooth device. "I have a question though. How is this supposed to work? I mean, Valerio doesn't know anything about this but he has a role to play nevertheless. You're not going to harm him right?" She asked tentatively.
I assured her that I wouldn't lay a finger on Valerio but I didn't tell her the whole plan. When you truly want to hurt someone, you have to let them imagine a happily ever after and then snatch it away from them. And the Webbs were just starting to move according to my instructions unbeknownst to them. Tonight was a start to the destruction of their lives and I was going to savour every moment of it.
